TOGO’s WFWP held a conference debate with the theme: ”The Value and Position of Women for a Flourishing Family and Society” On Sunday, April 23 from 2:30 pm to 6:00 pm at the Peace Embassy of Lomé. Our aim was to establish partnership with the members of ABRI POUR FEMMES Association, an association of Ivory Coast women living in Togo, to empowering our Women in our society for creating a better families and better society. Participants were mostly from ABRI POUR FEMMES Association and WFWP Togo.
The speaker focused on woman behind the creation, the current situation of woman in our society and what must be done at this time so that women can find their true value and true position.
There was an explanation of the fall of man in the beginning of human history, which is the real and root problem. We also emphasized the great value of parental heart behind every human project specially peace projects in the nation and the world. Also we mentioned the importance of the education of young people to observe abstinence until marriage and absolute fidelity in the marriage, which a a foundation for creating true families and societies.
We also introduce and explained the great worldwide work of True Mother, as the mother of peace to educate and bless young singles and couples for a peaceful home and a harmonious family.
Participants attentively listened and received the contents shared by WFWP lecturer and they appreciated gratefully, asking WFWP Togo to provide such a education programs at least every two month. They also proposed that their husbands can also be part of this education program so that they can also help their women in creating peaceful family.
There were suggestions of sharing of experiences women developments, and proper education of youth which is very important on this path. There was suggestion of women should work with proper income to contribute to their family development side by side of men, so that they can be respected by men.
The atmosphere was full of joy and love. Women expressed their gratitude for program and enriching discussion.
The president of the “ABRI POUR FEMMES” association expressed her gratitude for this conference which enlightened them on many aspects of family life and promised to work with the WFWP Togo.
Some young ladies greatly appreciated abstinence education and decided to know and involve in WFWP works more.
