The Tocoist church was founded by the African prophet named Goncalves Simao Toko 25 years ago. And they were working with our movement in Angola for quite some time.
Bishop Don Afonso Nunes, the current leader of the church was appointed as ambassador for peace and so he continued to openly work with our movement, attending several programs. This church has members in some countries such as Portugal, Sao tome and Principle, Cape Verde, Angola, DR Congo, South Africa, and they have close relationship with the Tocoist Headquarter here in Angola.
In Angola, at the Tocoist headquarters in Luanda, there is a Radio station named the Radio of Hope (RADIO DA ESPERANCA). FFWPU and UPF Angola made an agreement with Tocoist Church to start a educational radio program under the name “Peace and Responsible Citizen”.
During this program, the representatives of both FFWPU and UPF Angola are educating people, using True Parents teaching, divine principle and some speeches.
Through analyzing our program during the first two months in this Radio FM, we can see that number of audients are growing more and more. We hope that as we continue this program, we will be able to help more people listening to the truth. We feel that this is a very fruitful cooperation between FFWPU/UPF Angola and the Tocoism church.
