Father’s Blessing Prayer On June 13, 1998, Madison Square Garden, New York City
Beloved Heavenly Father. Today is June 13, 1998. Thank you for appointing this Madison Square Garden, directly beheld by heaven and earth, as the holy place of Blessing and for granting this holy time for over 120 million couples to receive the Blessing.
Unlike at the previous Blessings, today’s Blessing ceremony brings together all the good and evil people from the physical and spiritual worlds in order to liberate heaven and earth and to pioneer the way of the peaceful unification of heaven and earth. Through the false love, false life, false blood lineage and false conscience of the false parents which initiated God’s history of grief, the young Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden came to inherit Satan’s blood lineage and spread the fallen seeds. Moreover, all the families of humankind have been formed out of the first ancestors’ family, which initiated the miserable history of the elder son Cain murdering his younger brother Abel. Historical resentment and grief have been created as those on the side of Cain have been sacrificing and shedding the blood of those on the side of Abel and God, on the levels of family, tribe, nation and world. As a result, people in the world of religion and consciencious people have been shedding blood throughout the course of history.
Thus human history made a sorrowful start with the bloody battle of brothers and family breakdown in Adam’s family, which should never have happened to God. To restore all this, with His eyes set on the restored future, God has worked throughout the course of history through a strategy of being hit and conquering, being hit, paying indemnity and enduring on the individual, family, tribal, national and worldwide levels. All humankind must render gratitude to such a God.
In continuation of this path, religious leaders and saints have also endured as sacrificial offerings in order to expand God’s victorious foundation, until God could establish a unified history on the worldwide level by bringing together the generations of righteous endeavors. We are grateful for these ancestors. We have now entered the age for God to proclaim His victorious authority.
With the coming of this age, heaven has sent the True Parents in order to clear up all the evil consequences in the spiritual and physical worlds that originated from the evil parents. Centered on true love, the True Parents will clear away the defiled blood lineage, the corrupted kingdoms and all the impurities on the earth, and they will bring the blood lineage of true love which can directly connect to God and His ideal of creation, thereby opening the direct path from earth to the Kingdom of Heaven. Moreover, they will completely demolish the walls of the individual, family, tribe, nation and world and heaven and earth, thereby liberating hell on earth and opening the gates of the heavenly kingdom. They will indemnify the sorrow of Adam’s family by blessing all the families of humankind. They will lead the heavenly tribe into the Kingdom of Heaven, and this will be welcomed by the spirit world. Standing in the restored elder brother’s position with the heart of True God and True Parents, all the heads of Satan’s world must restore on the worldwide level the elder brother’s murder of the younger brother in the Garden of Eden. I am grateful, Father, for Your grace in granting this day of Blessing when they can be liberated in this way from living with Satan.
All people in the spirit world and all people on earth long now to be in this place. Through the Blessing, the four great saints and countless spirits centered on Jesus, together with people in the satanic realms can come to serve heaven and raise the flag against Satan, thereby subjugating Satan and entering the realm of heavenly blessing. [Without True Parents] this would have been impossible, even on the foundation of millions of years of suffering. By extirpating the lineage of the false parents, True Parents’ victory has unified the separated realms of elder son and younger son and has sealed the rupture between the spiritual and physical worlds, bringing into reality Your loving heart and hope. I am truly grateful that You have granted this time for us to be blessed into the day of opening and liberation when we can go straight into the Kingdom of Heaven, together with all humankind, on the level of global family.
All of the people offer gratitude to God and True Parents that through the blessing of the four great saints centering on Jesus, and of countless conscientious people and ancestors, their successors, not to mention their descendants, can step into the realm of liberation and participate in True Parents’ liberating work to open the gates of the cosmos. Working today to accomplish the Blessing of 120 couples, and further-more of 360 million couples, is a way of opening the gates of heaven and earth together with all humankind. We are grateful over and over again for Your allowing us to build such a direct highway to heaven.
Please officiate directly all the procedures of this holy ceremony. Today, in this Blessing, I proclaim before the whole cosmos and all humankind, ancestors and descendants, that we have received the mandate to march forward towards the heavenly kingdom, shining with endless blessing and liberation and eternal freedom and victory. As we sincerely thank You for enabling us to follow this course and become citizens and children of the heavenly kingdom, in the name of God and True Parents I proclaim before heaven and earth and all creation that the time has come for achieving the comprehensive and final victory.
