True Father’s blessing prayer on 1999 World Culture and Sports Festival, International Blessing of 360 Million Couples held on February 7, 1999, in Seoul, Korea
Beloved Heavenly Father!
Today, February 7, 1999, the ceremony to celebrate the blessing of 360 million couples is being held, watched by heaven and earth. All the families to be blessed in heaven and on earth are gathered here. They are moving toward a new day of liberation for heaven and earth, and into the world of unification where Eldersonship, Parentship, and Kingship are restored and the sovereignty of love is established centering on God, the Parents of Heaven and Earth, and true love. Now is the time of the worldwide turning point at which Your will is to be accomplished.
Because of the evil ancestors, a history of evil love, evil life, and evil lineage prospered under satanic leader-ship. To change its direction, You have worked through the Old Testament,
New Testament, and Completed Testament eras. The covenant was not realized in the Old Testament Age. In Adam’s family, everything was lost because Adam and Eve fell, which meant that they failed to become children of God by making a blood relationship with You. The parent-child relationship is established by connecting to the parents’ love, life and lineage. The mistake of our first ancestors, however, was that they instead connected by blood to Satan. This led to the emergence of satanic parents, satanic children, and a satanic family, passing down satanic love, satanic life and satanic lineage. This was the starting point of the struggles between mind and body, between husband and wife, between parents and children, and between Cain and Abel.
The whole of humankind has been divided on the levels of family, tribe, nation, state and world, finally leading to the confrontation between the world of democracy and the world of communism. Amid this tumultuous situation the Unification Church was established and ushered in the Completed Testament Age to restore the failures of the Old and New Testament ages. The True Parents have come on the earth to bring to completion what has been left unfinished in heaven and on earth. They have come to cut off the wild olive trees and engraft them to the true olive tree with true love, true life and true lineage. Upholding the will of God to restore heavenly tribes and heavenly authority, and seeking to redirect marriage based on false love, the Unification Church initiated, in the name of True Parents, the international marriage blessing ceremonies. This sacrament can bring all humankind together as one family.
With God’s protection we have been able to defeat opposition by individuals, families, tribes, nations, states, the world, heaven, earth, Satan and hell, and to uphold our blood relationship with God, centering on true love. With God’s direct protection of the children, we have been able to overcome the misery of persecution on the individual, family, tribal, nation-al, state, worldwide, and cosmic levels. Now, in the name of True Parents, and as representatives of humankind, we can go beyond religions, races, cultures and geographic borders, celebrating liberation with heaven and earth. For the grace of this blessing, we thank You from the depths of our heart.
In the spirit world, there are 15 billion and then 50 billion members of the heavenly family centering on the 20 billion. On the earth, the 360 million-in reality 400 million-couples constitute 800 million husbands and wives and, supposing that each couple has four children, this is approaching 3 billion people. They know that saving this chaotic world and re-creating history from amid confusion requires solving the problems of youth and family. This amazing work of overcoming a challenging environment and accomplishing the blessing of all humankind has not been accomplished by anyone in the Unification Church but by the Heaven and the spirit world. I pray sincerely that this victor’s right be eternally preserved and that the glorious sovereignty of love can realize the Kingdom of Heaven on earth through the liberation of the blessing.
Centering on the 360 million couples, all humankind should be united with one heart and achieve unity of heart, unity within couples, unity of tribes, nations, states, the world and cosmos. They are the blessed people who will stand on the terrain of love between God and True Parents and fully realize the Kingdom of Heaven on earth that You have longed for. I am blessing them to become the chosen children of God to inherit Your complete will by achieving unity between mind and body, between husband and wife, between parents and children and among brothers and sisters throughout the world. Please grant them Your unlimited protection and bless them to advance to a sphere of victory and glory.
