With the purpose of expanding the blessing to more couples in the Dominican Republic and fulfilling the mission of Tribal Messianism, on October 30, the HTM of the Dominican Republic held a blessing ceremony that took place in Puerto Plata with the participation of 16 couples and 76 attendees who accompanied the ceremony.
The ceremony began with the invocation prayer by Pastor Vicente. Then, Pastor Bernardo Alcalá gave the words of greeting, followed by Pastor Jesús Peralta, who gave the words of welcome and said that he received a revelation that all his family members should be connected to God and knowing the federation of families that it is through the sacred blessing of marriage that he can achieve this request from God.
Before starting the blessing ceremony, Mr. César Regalado was in charge of giving a lecture on the ideal couple model. The ideal model of couple and family for world peace. He commented that to participate in this blessing you do not have to change your religion, but you do have to change your attitude, your character and be a better member of society. Therefore, we ask all married couples to participate in this reaffirmation so that there will be more and more peace and we only ask for three things from now on: Fidelity, no divorce and no violence. God wants to bless the whole world and that includes the Dominican Republic”. He explained about God’s ideal, the loss of the ideal due to the fall and that the human being needs to go through a restoration.
He then explained the six parts of the marriage reaffirmation and blessing ceremony: first the holy wine ceremony, then the holy water ceremony, the promise, the blessing prayer, the blessing proclamation and then the indemnity ceremony. He thanked everyone for participating in the ceremony.
This was followed by the marriage reaffirmation and blessing ceremony; this part was led by the national leader, Reverend Bernardo Cruz. A motivational video of past ceremonies was played, then the two couples in attendance entered followed by the officiating couple of Mr. Carlos Hernandez and Mrs. Shaniella Petra.
This was followed by the Sacred Wine Ceremony and the Holy Water Ceremony performed by Mr. Luminado Pujols and Mrs. Beatriz Pujols. The Holy Water Ceremony was conducted by the officiating couple with the help of the ladies present. The vows were made by the officiating couple, as well as the invocation and proclamation of the blessing.
And after the officiating couple left, the indemnity ceremony was performed. After the blessing ceremony, Mr. Felix Antonio Garcia, pastor of the FFWPU federation in the province of Santiago, pronounced the words of congratulations.
The officiating couple then cut the cake while the song “sungrichukajabnida” was sung. This blessing ceremony was officially closed with the final photo and then a toast was shared with all the participants.
As a conclusion, we were able to celebrate a solemn ceremony in which 16 beautiful guest couples received the blessing. We really have faith that these couples can be faithful and serve as role models in the society.
