On the 27th of October 2022, the women’s federation in Cameroon celebrated its 30th anniversary in TOMBEL the south west region of Cameroon. This event started with the opening remarks of the mayor of TOMBEL which was later followed by the singing of the national anthem and also the peace anthem. A word of prayer was later offered by a female pastor.
Immediately after the opening prayer, TRUE MOTHRS message was given by the president of WFWP. Cameroon she also gave a brief history of women’s fed and also the activities at the national level and international level. During her speech, she transmitted the heart of the MOTHER OF PEACE through the talks concerning the blessing and of all families’ communities, nations and the world at large.
After the speech of the national president, a rundown of the activities of the women’s federation was presented since its creation in 2019 and the creation of an initiative of the MOTHERS HEART PEACE NETWORK.
Four personalities were nominated as peace ambassadors by the deputy secretary of UPF MRS RACHEL VAN IERSEL who is the secretary of WFWP. And for the first time with the WFWP in Cameroon, a man is named peace Ambassador who is the divisional officer of TOMBEL.
In this ceremony, 424 people participated with the presence of the D.O of TOMBEL, 7 magistrates, 2 lawyers, 3 police commissioners, 6b presidents of NGOs and 1 member of the south west regional assembly.
