Theory of Heavenly Unified Korea
Hello, I’m Jin Sung Bae who was just introduced. With the wave of enthusiasm for the Heavenly Unified Korea Peace Forum, this is already the 14th forum. Today’s lecture, too, will focus on the theoretical basis of Heavenly Unified Korea, and we will have time to deal with the basic issues of inter-Korean unification and world peace with the given ideology. First, let’s summarize what we studied in the last session so that today’s topic follows logically, so I will talk about the Universal Peace Federation and the war in Ukraine we saw last time. In particular, based on the 2022 Peace Summit, let’s focus on how important UPF’s global activities are in this era. I have about five minutes to summarize, so let’s watch the video first.
[Video] It’s a video known all over the world, but it’s a heartbreaking story. It’s not a story of some other country where you see a young girl boldly standing up to a soldier with a gun, saying, “You go to your country.” It’s like our own war story. As a nation that has experienced the Korean civil war, I think it is human nature to emerge again as a story of our native country, not another. Captain Lee Geun volunteered to fight in Ukraine. He is a former Navy UDT (Seals) captain. The reason he and his colleagues joined in the war in Ukraine was because our nation benefited from 16 countries’ participation in the Korean War, and so they fought with a righteous mind that they might offer their youth and their lives in return.

However, the Korean administrative authorities have already issued an order to revoke their passports and planned to file a criminal complaint related to alleged violation of the passport law. It is said that the reason is to awaken awareness of the people. It reveals the hidden political intentions here. More than 20,000 to 30,000 volunteer troops are participating in the Ukraine war around the world, as well as three young Koreans. Looking at it, the government emphasized Article 111 of the Criminal Code and said that if they injure anyone with explosives, they would also apply the crime of murder. It’s news that hits the hearts of the whole nation. If you visit the War Memorial of Korea, about 150,000 foreign troops participated in the Korean War. The number of U.S. soldiers killed during the Korean War is 36,592. About 40,000 U.S. soldiers, young people, were in their 20s. Young people in their 20s came to Korea and gave their lives to protect freedom. When you look back on the miserable Korean War, you can see the list of all the dead in the War Memorial Hall. They are someone’s comrade. It could be someone’s own son. How do we explain these two ironies when we see a beautiful old couple offering flowers in front of the portrait and surviving veterans sobbing at the names of their relatives? Mentioning these three volunteer soldiers, we have to think about how Korea was restored and how the world helped. In our reality of happiness and peace in a free democratic country, the current administration’s basic administrative measures to bring murder charges goes against the hearts of ordinary people. Why can’t we support young Korean men who volunteered to fight for Ukraine even after experiencing the Korean War? You can’t just pretend not to know anything. The administration’s stance of imposing murder charges is a love call to China and Russia in a way. Or it’s a political act that’s skewed towards it.
Only five permanent members of the United Nations, the United States, England, France, China and Russia have legal say in this scene. The UN General Assembly decision is not mandatory. On top of that, Russia, a permanent member of the council, exercised its veto power, failing to prevent the invasion of Ukraine. Basically, the act of international organizations intervening to preventing invasion being blocked through non-territorial rights is evil. By exercising non-domestic rights centered on the interests of powerful nations, the UN followed the constraints of the noble peace movement. This UN is only a UN on the surface. We can also see that it has been reduced to a mere shell of a UN that has no real legal clout, no action, and no ability to maintain the peace. I explained in detail last time, but due to time constraints, I couldn’t tell you everything. The UPF is the Peace United Nations, the Abel United Nations, against this helpless U.N. Not just political and military acts, but religious people and all conscientious people are building the Abel United Nations, the Peace United Nations. It is a new alternative to the United Nations. As a global organization, it has been fostered as an organization that can have practical effect and impact. The 2022 Peace Summit was also held based on the ideology of UPF.
The UN is based on Kant’s theory of permanent peace. Kant’s theory of permanent peace is an extension of his Critique of Practical Reason. Kant’s practical reason is moral philosophy. This is the command of conscience, a moral command, a categorical order based on reason. It’s simple. It’s an order of conscience, a moral order, a categorical order to act so that the longitude of an individual’s conduct is universal. Do the same thing when you’re alone and when you’re with multiple people. It is moral and orthodox to speak of your behavior without shame or remorse. Kant holds that this is based on reason, based on rational freedom. When you apply your conscience to some universal moral law and to the world based on this, the theory of permanent peace is realized. And this is the foundation for the creation of the United Nations or the League of Nations and the world international organization, United Nations. This is based on the World Citizens’ Law based on the moral law of conscience and the republican system based on the order of conscience. So, the United Nations is based on global citizenship laws based on reason. All this is based on the global citizenship law, Kant’s theory of permanent peace.
But that is wrong. The true moral law is not based on reason, it’s based on Shimjeong. You must make your conscience your parent, your teacher, and your master. This is the idea of the three main subjects. The Three Great Subjects Thought is the only alternative to overcoming Kim Il-sung’s Juche ideology. This is co-righteousness. It means respecting the conscience of co-righteousness as a teacher, parent, and master. Who is the subject of conscience? Who is the subject? It is God, our Heavenly Parent, with Heavenly Parent’s Shimjeong. The moral law of conscience is that it is an order of mind based on the Shimjeong of Heavenly Parents, not a cold rational order. This is the alternative to Kant that Godism offers. You could call it “Kant’s ethics of Shimjeong.” If Kant’s ethics are the ethics of duty, our moral command is the ethics of joy. Joy comes when children obey the orders of their parents’ affectionate heart. Why is it that joy comes to our heart when someone sees or doesn’t see us do something right or just? It’s not because of reason, it’s because of Shimjeong. The moral imperative of parents’ mind is to create an ethics of joy.

Because of Kant’s relativism of reason, the UN is bound to be a relativistic UN, a UN that panders to the egoism of powerful countries. Our Rev. Han is adamant that for the UN to contribute to world peace, religion or Heavenly Parents, we need to create a new United Nations based on Shimjeong. Isn’t this what UPF is, the Universal Peace Federation? The Heavenly Union, UPF, is a co-righteous democracy. It’s a federation of state-owned nations. Basically, this is the ethics of Shimjeong, the global citizenship law of the heart of Heavenly Parent. Only based on this is basically a permanent world of peace. This is the basic ideology of Godism and Heavenly Unified Korea.
Although General Director Yoon has emphasized this a lot, Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen was the only one invited to the Blue House for talks with President Moon Jae-in. At the meeting, Prime Minister Hun Sen said, “The plan was for me to visit the U.S. as the chair country of the ASEAN conference and the U.N. General Assembly, but I attended UPF Summit 2022 under Dr. Han Hak-ja.” What a great value! He said he planned to attend the U.N. General Assembly but attended the UPF summit instead. Instead he met with President Moon Jae-in about Dr. Han’s peace movement. Here’s where we see the difference between the United Nations and the UPF.
This scene, as I emphasized last time, is a symbolic representation of the thieves on the left and right, centered on Jesus. Like this, the picture below is centered on Dr. Hak Ja Han. On the right are Vice President Pence, Pompeo, and Japan’s former Prime Minister Abe. They are liberal democracy allies centered on the United States. And then you have Hun Sen, the Prime Minister of Cambodia, a country that emerged on the basis of communism. Many countries in Africa also take the form of socialist countries. The world’s two major distinctions, socialism and liberal democracy are lined up as one centered on Rev. Han. This event is the centerpiece of the heavenly world peace movement, the symbolic restoration of the Cross of Jesus. I think it is a framework of a psychological revolution and conscience revolution in which the whole world has developed two opposite poles, and now they unite centering on the Rev. Han Hak-ja on behalf of the True Parents and Heavenly Parents.
I talked about this briefly last time. What is ideology? The most basic issue of any ideology is who God is. Who is God? Is God the phenomenal subject as in Kim Il-sung’s Juche ideology? Or is it the God of the spiritual reality of pure form as the transcendent absolute of the heavenly realm as in Christianity? In the Bible, Genesis 1:21-27, “God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness.” Adam and Eve were made in the image and likeness of God. God wanted to be represented through Adam and Eve and their couple. God basically created Adam and Eve. Adam and Eve didn’t accomplish their mission. If you look at the Bible, it explains how they fell. It says they went wrong. It says they became corrupt. It is Jesus who came as the new Adam. It was Jesus who brought the mission of the only begotten son in place of Adam. Jesus failed to fulfill his family’s mission and the providence of heaven. Through the promise of one word, the Marriage Supper of the Lamb, and through the 2000-year Christian providence, Jesus pledged, “I shall come again!” Now, this is a historical event that we’re faced with, which is called the “Factual Event of True Parents.”
When Rev. Moon Sun-myung was 16, he had a direct spiritual exchange and conversation with Jesus at Myodu Mountain. Through it, he said he inherited and he took over Jesus’ mission. It is said that Rev. Moon Sun-myung refused three times before resolving to take it on because it was beyond human control. He said it was impossible for him to do it, so he refused with tears. He testifies that at last he accepted and determined to go on that path. He was 16 years old when he determined. Through this process, he completed his Blessing and the Marriage of the Lamb. Seeing this, it is clear that Rev. Moon Sun-myung is in the position of the only begotten son who inherited Jesus’ mission as the only begotten son.
Then who is the only begotten daughter? Did God only create Adam? He created Eve too. Does God send only the begotten son Jesus? God has no choice but to send a begotten daughter. A equals A is easier than one plus one. It is obvious that Rev. Hak Ja Han Moon, who holds the status of the True Parent, is in the position of the only begotten daughter. It is as certain as the logical fact that A is A. The fact that Rev. Hak Ja Han Moon is the only begotten daughter is not a matter of faith. It is in the realm of logic. It is logically clear that Rev. Hak Ja Han Moon is the only begotten daughter. The proposition that it is not a matter of religious faith establishes that Rev. Hak Ja Han Moon is the only begotten daughter. The status of True Parents makes the long-cherished hope of history come true which Adam and Eve could not achieve, and Rev. Hak Ja Han Moon and True Parents stand as the present body of Heavenly Parents. True Parents are one, and one of them is equal to both. It should be understood that the thief on the right and the thief on the left, centering on Jesus’ representative, Rev. Hak Ja Han Moon, is simply a historical scene that transcends the dimension and position of the peace movement, the inter-Korean unification movement. It’s the logical starting point. There’s no denying that this isn’t just a national event, it’s not just a secular global event, it’s an historical event, it’s cosmic history—can anyone deny that?

Who is Rev. Hak Ja Han Moon and the Republic of Korea that these global figures like Trump and Abe and African leaders have come? Prime Minister Hun Sen brought seven ministers and 60 aides, almost his whole Cabinet with him. The entire Cambodian government came to Korea to attend the UPF event led by Dr. Han. To do that, Hun Sen declined to attend ASEAN and the General Assembly of the United Nations to come to Korea. Who persuaded Prime Minister Hun Sen? Director Yoon Young-ho and many leaders worked hard, but it was only God’s miracle that changed Prime Minister Hun Sen’s mind and conscience. How could Prime Minister Hun Sen come to Korea if not for the revolution in conscience and mind through the wisdom and persuasion of Heavenly Parent God? How did Vice President Pence come to Korea? I went on a business trip to Jeju Island, but my wife told me not to go. She said, “Why do you want to go to Jeju Island? To catch COVID? There are over 100,000 cases.” But I went to Jeju despite the opposition of my wife and I didn’t catch COVID. It was not easy for me to go to Jeju because my wife was against it. What about Pence? Is he not afraid for his own life? It is not easy to come to Korea where there are more than 100,000 COVID cases. Secretary Pompeo’s leg was broken, yet he attended this meeting in a wheelchair. This is not just recorded as a national event, but a cosmic, astronomical, historical event. It makes me think that these are the manifestations of God, and these are the revolution of God.
Another is the meaning of Heavenly Unified Korea and the presidential election. In this presidential election, the South-South conflict was maximized, with a slim gap of 0.7 percent. I slept with anxiety because there was a 0.8 percent difference, but when I woke up later, Yoon Seok-yeol, the candidate for the power of the people, was elected with 0.7 percent. This is not just a factional case that Yoon Seok-yeol, the candidate for the power of the people. was elected. If you look at the South-South conflict after liberation, Park Heon-young, Lee Hyun-young, Cho Bong-am, and Park Heon-young claim free of charge and free distribution. Pro-Japanese group Cheongsan and Lee Hyun-young called for national liberation rather than revolution. Cho Bong-am was a leftist who led the socialist construction. The right wing established Rhee Syng-man’s liberal democratic government.
Anti-Japanese, anti-communist. Kim Gu was a nationalist. The most terrifying struggle of dictatorship is class struggle based on philosophy. Kim Gu was against Marx. There is an incident in which the confrontation between the left and right was revealed in an extreme way. More than 90 percent of Seoul National University professors and students marched to the north against the government’s policy to build Seoul National University as a national university. It was led by the left wing at that time, by Yeo Un-young and Park Heon-young. Therefore, it was Kim Il-sung’s Invasion from North Korea that believed that the communist revolution would automatically be a done deed in South Korea if Park Heon-young were introduced to Kim Il-sung. As such, South Korea is already contaminated by the left-wing ideology. North Korea lived well at the time of the anti-South propaganda. They sent electricity from the hydroelectric power plant to the South and had dams. But then North Korea turned off all the faucets. All South Korean companies went bankrupt. All of these disastrous ideological conflicts occurred since Liberation. That led to the outbreak of the Korean War in the 1950s. This isn’t easy. Based on 1980, North Korea amended the Constitution to exclude Marxism and implemented Juche ideology. From here on, South Korea has two groups, PD and NL. The PD line is a structuralist movement based on classical Marxism. The other, NL, is the pro-North Jusa movement, a ritualization movement centered on Juche ideology. Through this debate between PD and NL, Sim Sang Jung’s current Justice Party is based on the Marxist Labor Revolution. Lee Seok-ki’s Unified Progressive Party, which we know well, is a Juche ideological movement. There are rumors that the release of former President Park Geun-hye was part of the bargain in the release of Lee Seok-ki.
The current government is pro-China, pro-Left, and pro-Russia. Now that we are in that position, we can see the current government’s intention to rule with a brutal constitution even in the face of Captain Lee Geun’s participation. The right-wing parties, the conservative, liberal nationalism, Christian nationalism—are the People’s Power Party, the People Party, and others. Full-fledged ideology is embedded here. The current presidential election is no different from the South-South conflict after Liberation. The South-South conflict after Liberation is 70% left-wing and 30% right-wing. The establishment of the Republic of Korea here was basically matched by the power of the United States and the founding ideology of Syngman Rhee, and miraculously the Republic of Korea exists. It’s a historical fact.
What is the 586 ideological regime? This is a big government theory. It’s dictatorship, unilaterally controlling by contradictory laws. The same goes for the public concept of land. There are 2,295 civic groups in Seoul, including Cheong Wa Dae (the Blue House), the judiciary, the media union, the KCTU, the Korean Teachers and Education Workers’ Union, the People’s Solidarity for Participatory Democracy, totaling 13,933 in the country. Big government has consolidated their stronghold. What’s rising now, based on Yoon Seok-yeol, is called liberal democracy and market economy. Yoon Seok-yeol’s political aspiration to come forth without hiding is a miracle here. 0.7% is a victory for the liberal right. This means that we cannot define the presidential election in the current situation without going through the ideological landscape. It’s not just an interpretation of real estate policy, or Gwangju. A solid 13 percent in Honam (Jeolla), traditionally liberal-left, voted in nostalgia for the right. Beyond regionalism, they worry about the identity of the Republic of Korea. A lot of fundamental right-wingers came out of Honam. Song Jin-hyun, Kim Sung-soo, Lee Cheol-seung, and many other right-wingers came from Honam. Shouldn’t these conscientious right-wingers be considered to have chosen the way to live in Korea amid ideological disputes and made a great choice?
What is co-prosperity here? With God as the center, I, my neighbors and brothers, the conservative and progressive parties are united to liberate conscience. To resolve the partisanship manifested in the election, push for unity rather than the extreme struggle we observed, and solve the failure of representation. Monopolization based on a slim 51:49 must be about brothers enjoying and sharing power. It is only possible when parents and God are at the center of all brother, conservative and progressive parties, individual and ideological issues. Basically, it is co-prosperity through which justice, equality, and peace can be realized. It is co-prosperity that the brotherhood party is united with parents and Heavenly Parents based on the universal ethics of conscience that balances individual and overall purposes. The first issue that Yoon Seok-yeol put forward is the integration of the People’s Power and the People’s Party. Then, through the Unified New Party, and along with the Democratic side, they said they would promote ideological and conscientious politicians to achieve unity. Integration is basically the path of co-prosperity, brotherhood democracy, co-prosperity, and Heavenly Unified Korea. However, we still face a full-fledged struggle for a common ideology. We cannot deny this.
At the victory celebration, I presented the English version of the Theory of Heavenly Unified Korea. The Heavenly Unified Korea agenda is based on various agendas such as the problems of families around the world, the problems of the 2030 youth generation, the creation of a Peace Park in the DMZ, the marine peace global village project, and the Korea-Japan undersea tunnel. But the whole crux of all these activities is a full-fledged common ideological struggle. It is to restore the entire Republic of Korea to the ideology of Godism through the idea of peace, filial piety, and the peaceful movement centering on Heavenly Unified Korea. Honam, Yeongnam, Seoul, and Gyeonggi-do are the same.
The kind of South-South conflict we see is the last prelude to a social ideological confrontation. Korea is the scene of ideological warfare, such as the final World War III. Where else in the world can you see a country like Korea? The Soviet Union collapsed. The ideological debate is over. Russia invaded Ukraine dreaming of reviving the Soviet Union system in our world where we’ve already seen communism is down the tube. Isn’t this the reality?
South Korea is the only divided country in the final line of ideological conflict between the South and the North, truth and lies. The Republic of Korea is a historic outpost. Korea is the fateful outpost of God and Satan, and the fateful outpost of good and evil. It is said that a full-fledged struggle for a common ideology will begin from now on after overcoming ideological conflict and World War III. This 0.7 percent is an impregnable castle called big government that was consolidated by the 586-leftist ideology. They took control of five divisions. The foundation of this ideology is Marxism and self-reliance, which has taken control of legislation, justice, and administration, and even the media, unions, and teachers’ unions. The Republic of Korea should not be swayed by the false notions of Marxism and Juche ideology. This is not a violation of the election law because Yoon Seok-yeol was elected. The unique idea of Heavenly Unified Korea is that liberal democracy is Abel, and social democracy, the 586 generation, left-wing ideology is Cain. It’s not about killing: the two have to become one. It means that brothers and sisters become one, progressives and conservatives become one, communism and democracy become one. They have to become one centered on Heavenly Parents. Let me conclude today’s speech by saying that the most basic core nature of the Heavenly Unified Korea movement is to pursue a unified and peaceful world. Thank you.
