“Redream Your Future” is the theme of the Hyo Jeong Youth Festival 2022 in Cambodia held on October 14, 2022 at the Cambodia-Korea Cooperation Center (CKCC) in Phnom Penh Capital city, organized by the International Association of Youth and Students for Peace-Cambodia. This event brought over 600 youth and students from every city nationwide, particularly from 10 universities in the city as well as brought 80 youth leaders from the Union Youth Federation of Cambodia (UYFC), the biggest youth union in the nation. There were also youth and students from Thailand, Nepal, India, Hong Kong, and Myanmar who attended this event via zoom platform.

To welcome all guests and youth and students, as an organizer, Dr. Kimsruy Tang, the regional president of the IAYSP-Asia Pacific 1 welcomed everyone on behalf of YSP team and the family federation for world peace and unification-Cambodia and thank all prominent youth speakers, influencers, performers who took part and as owners in this event. He pointed out to connect to the theme of the festival that “to redream our future is not simply to be better off individually, but it is to be better off as a family which is to raise happy children that can live for the sake of others and impact thousand and thousand lives.”

During the program, youth speakers who are social media influencers, young entrepreneurs, media, and educators shared their best practice on how to succeed in their life. The participants were really inspired by all the youth speakers and performers. The Regional President of the FFWPU-AP1, President Demian Dunkley emphasized that “Youth have to prepare well for their future, not only to success their external aspect but to success the core goal which founded in the family.” He added that “we have to prepare for any possible storm that comes to us. The storm did not kill us, but the unprepared do.” He further pointed out that the “founder of YSP, Mother Moon loves us so much, and he asks all youth and students to study in-depth about True Mother’s life through the Mother of Peace.” The regional President also called these youth and students to work with YSP and get trained and get ready to prepare well for any possible storm in the future for their nation and the world.

All the participants were really happy and inspired by learning a lot from the festival. They left the festival with hope and motivation to redream the future.
