The FFWPU in conjunction with HJ Cheonbo Africa Training Center held a 4-Day Special Youth Leadership Training from June 22 to 25, 2022 at HJ CheonBo Training Center in Barlastone, Lusaka. We had 21 people attending our training which is level training being organized to raise future leaders in different areas of our movement.
Topics covered Workshop Management, Workshop organization, Center Management, Church Management, Leadership, ushering among other topics. The purpose of the training is to raise young future leaders to become pastors, MCs, lecturers, church administrators, etc.
This training was organized for HPHC youth members who undergone a 21-day level DP workshop. And participants were very much inspired with lectures on family values are looking forward to implement the program in their churches.
The graduation was held on Sunday, June 26, 2022 during a Special National Service which broadcasted live via Zoom platform.
Reflections
Amore Chitalu, 20 years old: “To follow with a term itself CIG it means the kingdom of God on earth and in heaven. As in this workshop I have realized that they are trying to raise us to become not just leaders, but more than leaders; ideal people who can be worth enough to live in CIG. That’s why the first important point I have invested in my spirit states that If I want to change the world into a better place, I first have to make a determination to change myself into an ideal person. This point I have taken it in many different perspectives.
One of the perspectives is the witnessing. In this sector I have participated and discovered that I can go to witness but if I only talk about the Divine Principle at academic level without the moral heart to somebody who is in a satanic realm, that somebody will feel that the word is he is receiving is not the truth though it is the truth. This is because I am supposed to be the testimony, the evidence of the truth by practical love and my flesh is supposed to be the embodiment of true love.
When we talk of witnessing it is not only to the people around me, but it is witnessing within myself for the truth must be manifested into my flesh for me to be transformed into an ideal person. I must be a leader to myself in order to inform, convince and move myself to a right purpose, motive and direction of becoming an ideal person.
As a leader I must not expect service into myself, but give service. That’s why each and every time I must think of always solving problems affecting the public, challenging always to improve the environment I am in and where my neighbors are found. That’s why no matter what the condition I will find myself into the first position to become a solution of each and every person.
With this, I pledge and pray to Heavenly Parent and True Parents to use me as a vessel of goodness for my family, tribe, society, nation, world and the cosmos.”
Ion Florica, 21 years old: “The beginning of the workshop was a point in time disliked by most participants. This was due to different motives we had, thinking it was an extraordinary workshop that talked about Adam and Eve. But the workshop instead made me realize quiet a lot of facts and truth.
Not only being a first or second generation, we met the principle and True Parents not by accident but for a purpose. Not only being center members, we stand as pillars to represent and move the movement forward. The organization is a movement, therefore it has to move forward and not become an aging movement. Therefore, we as youths are the future.
This can only be achieved by witnessing to new members who can live in the center and attain training in different areas of activities such as; fundraising to help support the providence.
The workshop taught me different angles in topics such as leadership. I as a youth has to stand firmly and spread the truth, therefore preventing the prolongation of God’s providence of restoration. Our portion of responsibility is to restore billions of people at a particular period of time by spreading the Blessing to a worldwide level.
The world we are living in today is full of confusion and suffering because of lack of knowledge. For God’s ideal to be realized, people have to know the root cause of all this and put an end, can a heaven on earth be established. Only my portion of responsibility can make all this a reality.”
