FFWPU Italy, (Rome, Italy, 30. November 2014): Due to the fact that in 2011, we moved in the north of Rome, it became uncomfortable for us to make ourselves available to have a mission in the central church and then we asked for the opportunity to focus on the work as Tribal Messiah.
As we did in the past, we started with distributing peace messages to the neighborhood; then we gave out the autobiography of True Father to the contacts of the neighborhood. Later we decided to bring the autobiography of True Father to pastors of churches and religious institutions of our municipality.
Thanks to the help of the brothers and sisters of the community of Rome, we organized a conference on behalf of FFWPU. At the same time, we started with some guests, with weekly meetings, an in-depth study of Divine Principle, reading, commenting it and trying to apply it to our daily lives. In June 2012, we began to organize interreligious meetings on topics suggested by the “World Scriptures” (2nd edition), with the aim of making HDH with guests. We began to meet once a month and we understood right away that it could be a good way to conduct our Tribal Messiahship activity.
At this stage, we had the support of a blessed couple that like us, who has taken the responsibility to fulfil the mission of local pastor. At that time, the woman you can see in the right side of the picture above, decided to participate in the blessing.
When we heard about the direction of True Mother to apply the strategy of home groups, we realized that Heaven had patiently prepared us for this and we decided to keep these prayer meetings every two weeks. The inner goal that had seemed important to us to realize was to make people fall in love with the True Parents.
We realized that it is important to apply the suggestion to ask participants, after having shared reflections on what has been read, to choose together an inner goal at the end of each meeting, to be lived in the weeks, until we meet again, in order to experience the power of God to heal our hearts.
To our meetings come all sorts of people, some decided to come back and continue with our journey, some religious people of different faith and a catholic priest.
We are doing our best, however we are aware of the poor results that until today we can offer to True Parents. However, we trust in them, in their guidance, inspiration and strength, and in the time that we live in so full of grace and fortune True Parents have opened with the Foundation Day.
