In its pursuit of outreach, FFWPU Cambodia hosted a Certificate Awarding Ceremony for the “Parts of Speech (Part 1)” course as a way to engage young people in society. The event took place on December 8, 2024, and began with a warm welcome address by the Master of Ceremony, Ms. Yoeurng Sreynit, followed by an energetic dance performance by the Heavenly Top Gun team.
Dr. Hong Kiseng, the English instructor, delivered the opening speech, highlighting the timeline and dedication of the students. He noted that the online English class on “Parts of Speech (Part 1)” was conducted from September 7, 2024, to November 3, 2024. Despite the challenges of learning via Zoom, the students demonstrated remarkable focus and commitment, earning their certificates as a testament to their hard work.
In his congratulatory speech, Mr. Chamroeun Sophal, President of FFWPU-Cambodia, warmly acknowledged the students for their effort and dedication in completing their course. He also gave an inspiring presentation on the history and mission of FFWPU, founded by Rev. Dr. Sun Myung Moon and Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon, whom we honor as True Parents. He elaborated on key activities conducted by FFWPU in Cambodia, emphasizing Character Education based on the Principle of True Love. He highlighted the three core purposes of FFWPU:
- Developing mature character,
- Building happy and ideal families, and
- Contributing positively to society.
The participants felt profoundly inspired by the event and expressed a strong desire to participate in future programs. They recognized that this space fosters a sense of unity, allowing individuals from diverse countries and backgrounds to learn and live together as one family.
