The HyoJeong Rang Cadets, South African missionaries, and Zimbabwean missionaries conducted a two-day Chambumo Ron youth workshop from November 22 to 24, 2024, for 13 youths from Madziva. The participants were accompanied by their Bishop and his wife, who wanted to understand what we teach. The attendees were from the rural area where Bishop and Mrs. Chiboyiwa reside.
Our lecturers, Natalie Chitalu Takayedza, Lehlohonolo Leballo, and Rev. Callisto Mushati, delivered their lectures in English, which were translated into Shona. They covered the following topics:
- Heavenly Parent’s Dream
- Heavenly Parent’s Despair & The Essence of Jesus
- The Coming of True Parents
Reflections from participants showed that they understood God as having both masculine and feminine aspects, which is why we refer to God as our Heavenly Parent. They also grasped that Adam and Eve were meant to become the True Parents, as they were created as the Only Begotten Son and Daughter, but they fell.
It was emphasized that Adam and Eve’s sin was illicit sex, not the eating of a literal fruit, which highlighted the importance of maintaining sexual purity before marriage and fidelity afterward. Many participants understood that Jesus did not come to die but rather came as the Only Begotten Son to change our lineage; unfortunately, he was killed before meeting the Only Begotten Daughter and starting a physical family.
They realized that Heavenly Parent’s dream of living with True Parents on earth was fulfilled by Father and Mother Moon. The participants expressed eagerness to learn more.
We will continue to spread this truth throughout our nation.
