We have conducted a 4-day youth workshop under the title “Pure Water Youth Camp” on August 26-29, 2024, in the HJ Rang youth center at Twiikatane, Lusaka, Zambia. We had 14 participants and the theme for the workshop was “Heavenly Parent’s Dream and Me.”
This workshop covered topics such as Heavenly Parent’s dream and broken dream, the essence of Jesus Christ, True Parents and the Only Begotten Daughter, Youth empowerment and responsibility, and Heavenly Tradition and attendance among other topics. The lecturers were Shin Top missionaries, Youth Special Envoy for East and South Mr. Youth Karamgi, and HJ Rang cadets.
Key takeaways included understanding Heavenly Parent’s dream, the importance of True Parents, and the participants’ responsibility in this era. Outcomes and action items included making Heavenly Parent’s dream a reality, uniting with True Mother, and practicing Heavenly Tradition.
Participants reflected positively on the workshop, with Wonpil Djimadoum, a second generation stating it was “interesting” and they learned new things. Sister Chikondi Phiri, another second-generation participant noted that each workshop they attend teaches them something new, and this one was different from others they had attended.
The quiz at the end had a 99% general rating, indicating a good understanding of the content. The workshop was deemed a success, with participants leaving with a new understanding of Heavenly Parent and True Parents’ heart.
