True Mother’s Message to the UPA Cadets (main content)
Okay. Which do you like best: spring, summer, autumn or winter? [We like spring.]
Why so? [Because it’s warm.]
And? [New life is born then.]
And? Is that all? [We like it because it is when True Parents had their Holy Wedding.]
It is most significant because it is a season when your wishes can come true, depending on what you wish for. Do you understand? [Yes.]

You have come for some refreshments. Are there coffee and rice cakes? [Yes, we have prepared them.] Will you be passing them out now? [Yes, indeed. We have just put them out on the table.] Everything is on the table? [Yes.] Then, Director Park, please pray. [Yes.]

[Heavenly Parent to whom we are most grateful, and beloved True Parents of Heaven, Earth, and Humankind, At this most precious time, we are attending to Your only begotten daughter, our dear True Mother, and all the UPA cadets that You directly raised are gathered together.
In front of our True Parents, we stand apologetic and inadequate. But in keeping with what we have learned from True Parents’ life, and in keeping with how True Mother still continues to love You, Heavenly Parent, we have wholly engraved their hearts in our own hearts and set out to our mission areas, seeking out and welcoming new people. After this period, we are now finally meeting our True Parents.
Regardless of our shortcomings, we will always support and follow True Mother. With sincere hearts, we will mature and become children who are able to create and return greater hope to our Parents. Please allow this time to be one of such resolute determination for us. We thank you for everything.
I pray all this in the name of Pak Su-hong and Ahn Ji-hwi, a blessed central family. Aju. ]

The Bible describes Jesus cursing a fig tree that did not bear fruit—there is such a story. As a matter of fact, Israel is half desert. Aside from cities near the Red Sea, it is mostly a desert. There are trees that are two thousand years old. Olives trees are mentioned in the Bible. You wonder how they endure in the desert for so long.
Based on what I understand, the roots of an olive tree can go down fifteen meters in search of water. How can they do this? Olive tree roots pass through hard rocks, soil and sand along the way. It amazes me how they can go down 15 meters to find water.
Trees that grow deep roots can survive for a thousand years, for two thousand years. They also produce their fruit. Greek culture could also be seen as an olive culture. They consume a lot of olives, use olive oil, etc. That’s Greece. Italy too. The same for Middle East region, all the way to Israel.
This demonstrates how the fallen world has not been able to properly understand God, our Creator, until now. The basis of faith was solely based on seeking and asking. It was similar to making wishes in the air. In addition, Adam and Eve, whom the all-knowing, all-powerful Creator created as the first human ancestors, fell. How could this happen? Fallen Adam and Eve were expelled from Eden, weren’t they? [Yes.]
This marked the beginning of human history. Therefore, for the past 6,000 years our history has been characterized by wars, conflicts and fighting. There has never been a day when peace was fully realized. Peace has passed by only briefly. It has been a difficult history in which things have repeatedly changed back and forth.
The Creator has the same beginning and end. Since He began everything, He must fulfill that goal no matter what the result. Thus the history of the providence of salvation began.
God chose the people of Israel from among humanity’s vast multitudes. The Israeli people in the Middle East have historically carried much sorrow and pain. As a result, they are a people that had no recourse but to hold onto Heaven.
As God held on to this people, He conducted His providence of salvation. How difficult this must have been. It must have been more difficult than an olive tree growing its roots. In the end, God was able to send Jesus Christ, a son who had no relationship with Satan, and whom He could call His own son.
God gave humankind alone among all things of creation a special period of growth, in accordance with the Principle of Creation. A newborn baby cannot carry out the work of God’s providence. Heaven waits until the baby grows up, is able to judge things for him- or herself, understands God’s will, makes his or her determination, and advances toward perfecting his or her character. Heaven has to wait for that time to come.

According to the Bible, Jesus was conceived through the Holy Spirit. Nevertheless, did Mary take responsibility for Jesus whom she conceived and gave birth to through the Holy Spirit?
The Christian faith began with waiting for Jesus Christ who had promised to return. Despite not knowing when Jesus would come back, they awaited his return with prayerful devotion for not just 100 years or 300 years, but for 2,000 years. During this time, however, Christians were unaware of the essential nature of Jesus. They were unaware of the fundamental nature of our Creator.
The Creator desired to find the True Parents who, among all people, had attained perfection. God was looking for the True Parents—not the male Messiah, but the True Parents. In the meantime, all religions, including Christianity, developed centered on men. As a result, they still do not know their final destination.
When addressing Christians, you have nothing to fear. Ask them what they think the essence of Jesus is. Ask them why Jesus said He would return again. Listen to what they have to say.
So what is the conclusion? It is to be confident. You all know Heaven’s secrets, don’t you? Explain about the Creator’s dream and Jesus’ dream. Only then… Continual wars and conflicts and human ignorance have prevented balance in the creation, and this has caused the earth to suffer.
Modern science seeks to pioneer space. However, it’s not a simple matter. How do you feed eight billion people through pioneering the universe?
When the world comes together and works together to end war and save the planet, will there be the need to invest a lot of money in space exploration and development? [No.] Will it be necessary to live on another planet if the dream of creation is realized on earth and this planet becomes the Garden of Eden? [No.]
There can be no perfection in ignorance. You must learn and understand.
In the early days, True Parents should have emerged with the support of the Christian environment, in which Christianity would have welcomed them. That was not achieved. Therefore, the 53 years that followed were like the winter season. We could not experience the spring. It is Heavenly Parent’s dream, based on the birth of True Parents, to welcome the spring and realize His ideal for creation.
It took time due to the environment not being prepared. After that, who announced the new age, Foundation Day, and the first year of Cheon Il Guk? [True Mother, you did.] Please don’t forget this. The only way for you, your family, and your ancestors in the spiritual world to be liberated is by becoming one with True Mother. Do you understand? [Yes.]
The Creator created Adam and Eve, who were to become the first ancestors of humankind. However, they failed to uphold the Will of the Creator and were sent out of Eden. You must keep this in mind from now on.
That is why I am saying that while I am still on earth, I will show you what Heavenly Parent’s dream is like, what one family of humankind is like, and what life in the Kingdom of Heaven on earth is like. That is why I am also saying that, in keeping with this, I will develop the Cheonwon area into the Garden of Eden.
For the past ten years until now, you don’t know how hard I have had to work. [That’s true.] You don’t know. I even made this glass café. The floor is heated by an ondol system. I had an open ceiling installed that allows you to see the stars and the sky. I made this a place where I can bring my children and grandchildren to play and roll around and share old stories together.
I have said that the Family Federation must now advance based on two pillars: the Holy Spirit and the Truth. You need to offer a lot of Cheon Shim Won prayer devotions for a good environment. There are still a lot of obstacles in the way of achieving a heavenly unified Korea and a heavenly unified world. You all know this, right? [Yes.]
Therefore, please offer prayer and your devotion. You should be able to grow deeper roots than an olive tree does. Grow your roots down deep in unity with True Mother, the only begotten Daughter. Okay? [Yes.]
As of now, the Mission Headquarters [International Headquarters] and Cheon Shim Won will work together. It is for this reason that I am setting up Cheon Shim Won chapters in each region. There are branches in Europe, Asia, and Africa. Additionally, branches have been established in the Middle East and the United States. Lee Gi-seong, where are they all located? [Lee Gi-seong: Yes. The Japanese chapter, the USA chapter, the Asia chapter, the Europe chapter, the Africa chapter, and the Central and South America chapters have been established. Apart from Korea, Japan and the US, there are chapters in four major regions.]
We must make more of them. In this age when you live with True Parents, members and blessed families must take responsibility for the past, present, and future. You must do this on earth.
Therefore, you must liberate your ancestors while you are on earth. Only through this will the spirit world be liberated.
In God’s providence, the earth is first. The earth must first be settled for the spirit world to also be settled. That is why the Creator wants to establish, through the perfected Adam and Eve, the perfected True Parents, and through them, the kingdom of heaven on earth and live there with His children. He then desires to go and live with them in the eternal kingdom of heaven in heaven. This is Heavenly Parent’s blueprint. Do you understand? [Yes.]
Heavenly Parent’s sanctum will be dedicated this year; this is the first in 6,000 years.
Think of how much God has longed for this. What do you think? How long He has had to wait for this. From that perspective, you are truly blessed. You are fortunate. This is because of whom? [True Parents.]
You should not be indebted. [Yes.] You should pay this off. [Yes.] The rating you receive depends on whether you repay it ten times or one hundred times over. There is no other way.
Because of this, Shin-chul and Shin-heung are walking with you on this journey, learning to complete God’s providence together. Do you understand? [Yes.]
You are brothers and sisters together. Please love and help one another so that we can reveal a strong Cheon Il Guk to all people. [Applause]

[Kim Dong-woo: Thank you. Furthermore, you showed us tremendous love and grace yesterday. Due to your sending Shinchul nim and Shinheung nim, they have become the elder brothers of our Heavenly South America YSP members. There is not much of an age gap between them. Our young people are so happy. While it may be difficult for them to reach all the way to you with their respect and love, Mother, they are so thankful to be close to Shinchul and Shinheung. They could really feel True Mother’s deep love as well. They are fully revived.]
Yes, that is why I sent them. [Laughter]

Of course. They were meeting their younger brothers and sisters whom they had not seen in a long time. This is what elder brothers should do for their younger siblings, isn’t that so? [Laughter]
