Cheon Il Guk, Cheon Il Guk. The Cheon Il Guk that Heavenly Parent has so earnestly desired and longed to see.
Heavenly Parent, the Creator, created everything in God’s image and created man and woman who were meant to be the ancestors of humankind. The Creator granted them a period during which they should mature, and eagerly awaited the day they would perfect their character. Heavenly Parent gave them the commandment not to eat of the forbidden fruit. However, the man and woman who were to become our forebears could not uphold this sacred command, which led to their being sent out of Eden. The fallen world today remains estranged from the Creator. Throughout six thousand long years we have never for one moment been able to dream of a peaceful world.
Throughout history we have been forced to endure war, conflict, disease, and unbearable suffering. Observing humankind in this state, how would God feel? Heavenly Parent, whose beginning and end are one, is all-knowing and all-powerful. Heaven must therefore accomplish what was begun. Consequently, God had no choice but to undertake the arduous task of conducting the providential history of salvation, the path of restoration through indemnity.
I had already turned 80 years of age when I dedicated the Cheon Won Gung’s Cheon Il Sanctum, where people will be able to attend Heavenly Parent. From the time I proclaimed Foundation Day I said we would do it, but it took ten years until it could be dedicated, and there were many issues along the way. All that time, I was alone. When I say I’m going to accomplish something, there are those who say it is impossible. When we think that the temple where we can attend Heavenly Parent after 6,000 long years should remain unchanged for all eternity with its gleaming appearance, there are leaders who can’t see the immediate future and become entangled in the circumstances of reality. You know how the elders from the early days reacted when I said, “I am the only begotten Daughter!”
The generation of the elders is the generation of Father. It is not the generation of True Parents. I can say again that Exposition of the Divine Principle is the understanding of the wilderness era. Do you understand? [Yes.] In the era of Cheon Il Guk, the only way to explain the essence of the Creator Heavenly Parent and True Parents is to explain the essence of Jesus. Do you understand what I mean? [Yes.]
That is what makes up the scripture of Cheon Il Guk. Among all people and all religions, it is only the True Parents who speak of and fulfill the essence, wishes, and dreams of the Heavenly Parent, the Creator, the fundamental center of the universe. Do you understand? [Yes.] (Applause)
That’s why the textbooks of the Cheon Il Guk era will be about the Heavenly Parent, what the Heavenly Parent’s dreams were, and how much Heavenly Parent must have waited, suffered, was saddened, and endured as he guided 6,000 years of human history while waiting to see the day of the realization of his dream. Considering Heavenly Parent and True Parents’ parental hearts that desire to embrace humanity through love alone, we must repent, be reborn, and set an example in front of Heavenly Parent and True Parents as blessed families.
For this we must witness. Witnessing. Do you understand? This is the time when we must do this. How can somewhere be called Heavenly Parent’s homeland when national restoration could not be accomplished there?
Please bear in mind that this is one of the most urgent issues that must be resolved while the only begotten Daughter and True Parent is on earth. I cannot wait any longer for a heavenly unified Korea. Now all of you are one with me. Is that right? [Yes.] Please don’t disappoint me. You will do as I have asked, won’t you? [Yes.]
I believe in you. I want to report your achievements to Heavenly Parent every day.
“This is how these sons and daughters have matured and developed. This is how they achieved national restoration.” I want to feel this kind of pride. In such a proud group as this, with your youthful spirit, is there anything to be afraid of? [No.]
In this time, Heavenly Parent is managing things directly. It must be different. We should be able to see change. Do you understand? [Yes.] We should be able to share proudly from our hearts about Heavenly Parent and True Parents. I bless you to become such devoted sons and daughters, and loyal citizens. [Aju.] (Applause)
