On May 18, 2024, we held a seminar on financial literacy at the Peace Embassy in Kathmandu. The seminar was aimed at Blessed Families in Kathmandu. Experts from Indira Securities Private Limited were invited to give a two-hour session on stock market literacy. The event was attended by 40 local Blessed Families from around Kathmandu.
The main goal of the Financial Literacy Program was to teach participants how to create income sources to support their daily needs and achieve financial stability. During the seminar, top stock market experts in Nepal gave lectures on the basics of the stock market, its benefits, and methods of investment to generate income effectively.
Hon. Ek Nath Dhakal, Chairman of UPF Asia Pacific, spoke about how the stock market can help people become financially capable and encouraged all Blessed Families to engage in stock trading to achieve financial independence. Similarly, Rev. Prakash Babu Thapa, the National Leader of FFWPU – Nepal, emphasized the importance of financial prosperity for Blessed Families to compete and thrive in the outside world.
