Mother gave this guidance to the members in Latin America (In The Dominican Republic, October 1, 1996 ) during the “True Parents and True Family” worldwide speaking tour. Although we indicate the name of the country in, which she spoke, the same message was given in other nations.
I would really like to see the 7 million people of the Domini-can Republic receive the blessing next year. Was your experience today good enough to give you the determination to accomplish it? Then, I would like you to begin from tomorrow on to invest your absolute dedication into fulfilling this goal. The suffering which God went through until this day is indescribable. God is being liberated, as well as Jesus, Mary, many saints and many spirits. You have to spread the contents of the two speeches you heard today. You must know that Jesus and Mary are so grateful to you that they cannot contain them-selves. As good children of True Parents, with dignity and enthusiasm, strength and conviction, you have to go out and spread these words.
Father invited 33 representatives of this country to Uruguay. Is it true? He asked them to read these speeches the same number of years as they have in age; ii they do so they will receive help from the spirit world and they will elevate their spirituality; they will understand many things and will be blessed.
Perhaps you do not take it with the seriousness that this deserves, but these speeches and the proclamations they contain are extremely exceptional. With these words the barriers of 2,000 years of history are completely demolished. Whether people like it or not, no one can present an alternative to these declarations. Such words are priceless. I want you to give everything of yourselves so that there is not one soul left in the Dominican Republic who did not listen to these words.
Pledge with me to dedicate all your efforts. Do you understand? I hope you will compete to become the best in Latin America. It is not easy to become the best. With this hot weather you are probably accustomed to walking slowly. With that kind of pace, it is more probable that you would end up being at the end of the tail and in the worst position. Are you going to win, or are you going to lose? I am going to believe in you. Thank you very much and please dedicate yourselves.
To THE LEADERS OF THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC
We have to open the way within all branches of the news and cultural media, including radio and television. New programs need to be created which would help people and provide them with examples of goodness. The majority of programs only teach a bad example; we can offer the media abundant material to do good things. We have the best words to create the best culture. This country is small. You have to bombard it in all directions through getting air time on radio and TV Many people will come. Make a good, detailed plan and from tomorrow on you can begin to implement it. Concentrate on the universities. Are you creating a purity movement or campaign? If you cannot do this at the universities, do it nearby and do not wait for the people to show up, you have to go find them. You have to speak with the professors and administrators so that they will open their classrooms to teach the Principle. With the help of the professors it would be much easier.
We have to bring the priests to the blessing. In Korea there is a saying, “The Buddhist monk cannot cut his own hair.” In other words the priests cannot marry by themselves; they need someone to marry them. Do not be afraid. You can tell them, “I came to save you.”
I sincerely hope that the national messiahs from Korea, Japan, Germany, America and the other countries will work together in harmony.

You could enjoy Father and Mother’s conversations better if you spoke Korean, isn’t this true? Then, you have to take advantage that there is a Korean national messiah here to study Korean at least one hour a day every morning. There are also many Korean songs which True Parents like; you can learn Korean by singing them and practicing. You have to make effort. It is also a studying method to learn another language through songs. You can learn it faster.
How did you feel today? (Very happy) I have to be honest with you, last year when Father and I came to this country, we got a bad impression of Panama. The atmosphere during the speech was not pleasant, many people left and others came and went; that attitude left us with the sensation that the Panamenians did not think deeply, that they were empty. Today, such an image was completely reversed. (Applause!!)
Today you heard two speeches in two hours time, but you have no idea how many millions of years it took God to find someone who could express them, who could declare them to the world. Latin America is basically Catholic, in other words, it has 2,000 years of Christian foundation. You can imagine if we had to make these declarations five or ten years ago, we would not have been able to finish them in peace, nor quietly. Through these declarations we are receiving this era of blessings upon True Parents’ victorious foundation of 6,000 years of the history of restoration. However, I am sure you are not aware of the kind of sacrifice, sorrow and efforts which Father invested to be able to proclaim these things openly and publicly. Please read both speeches in the morning and in the evening, pray about them, feel the heart invested in their con-tent, invest a lot of your time on them; this is for the sake of your own spiritual growth.
To the 24 Panamenians who went to Uruguay, Father asked them to read the speeches as many times as their years of age; he told them that if they fulfill such a condition, they would feel God’s presence in their lives and will receive His blessings. If Father asked these people, who do not know the Divine Principle and do not know Father’s life course, to make such a condition, you can imagine how much more Father expects from you. As children of God and True Parents, you have to deepen your relationship with them; therefore, I ask you to please dedicate a good part of your time to read these two speeches.
With these words you have to save your families and clans; with these words you have to save your nation. I do not want anyone in Panama who would say, “Ah, I did not hear it, I did not know.” As honorable children of God and True Parents, do not hesitate upon the proclamation of these words. From ‘now on, do not make more mistakes, be diligent and work well. You have to unite with your national messiahs and missionaries and always be at the front line of the national restoration; I hope that by doing so you can become one of the most developed nations in Latin America. Do you want to be blessed first or last? (First) To do so, you have to dedicate yourselves a lot. Well, I am going to leave you, I think that with this you already have a lot to deal with.
Father seriously emphasizes the importance of our daily prayers for the country, the world and for God; he said, “From now on, no one can take away the conditions we make. With prayer we can receive help from the spiritual world. I am already making conditions for Africa. There is no time to rest, a heart of love can never rest. If something does not move, it will soon die.”
