Prepared by FFWPU Indonesia

The FFWPU Indonesia conducted a one-day HJ CheonBo Special Event for the first time on October 27, 2024, at Jakarta HQ, Indonesia. The event focused on educating members and Blessed Families of Indonesia. Around 15 people attended the one-day program, which was arranged only for onsite participation.

Rev. Alfred Forno, the President of FFWPU Indonesia, served as the MC of the event. He welcomed the participants, who were dressed in white, and guided the entire event, also conveying a message of greetings to all participants. Mr. Sugito offered a representative prayer to report to Heaven about the commencing program. A video presentation titled “The Grace of Cheon Shim Won 1000th Prayer Vigil” provided insights into the spiritual legacy of Cheon Shim Won, profoundly inspiring attendees on their spiritual journey.

The highlight of the event was a special lecture by Rev. Dr. Kim In Cheon, President of HJ CheonBo Asia Pacific Branch. He delivered inspiring guidance, educating members on changing mindsets and attitudes, gaining more determination, increasing prayers and jeongsong, and putting it into action. He emphasized achieving success not only by setting up goals but also by planning how to achieve them, even with small steps. Shortly after the lecture, the second part of the program, the Ancestor Liberation: Chanyang Yeoksa, took place, providing participants the opportunity to honor and liberate their ancestors, fostering spiritual experiences and connections among the participants and their ancestors.

The program concluded with lunch, where participants strengthened familial bonds in a sense of interconnectedness and harmony. Aju.

Reflections

Rev. Alfred Forno – National Leader, FFWPU Indonesia

Dear Heavenly Parent, beloved True Mother, the Only Begotten Daughter,

I can only extend my deepest gratitude that we were finally able to conduct the first HJ CheonBo Special Event in Indonesia. Previously, I received several calls to conduct this event, but it didn’t happen as I lacked confidence due to our members’ situation and other matters, such as insufficient staff for preparation. However, over three weeks ago, we determined to conduct it no matter what, hoping that this event would bring significant change to Indonesia. We then started our 7-week condition, receiving lectures from Rev. Dr. Edgar Tanate for all Indonesian members and families. During the condition period, my wife had a dream of True Mother, thriving to assist and serve True Mother in the restroom, determining that she would do anything for True Mother. It was as if we got confirmation to proceed with the HJ CheonBo event wholeheartedly.

The HJ CheonBo Special Indonesia Event 2024 has certainly brought great blessings and grace for us. Thanks to Dr. Kim In Cheon coming to Indonesia, we could feel a sense of closeness to True Parents, and through his lectures and encouragement, we could be revived again. Of course, we could….We are grateful to have had a special consultation from Rev. Kim and particularly a special ansu for my wife. The special ansu was done during the break of Choen Shim Won Prayer Vigil, in which I took part along with Dr. Kim in giving ansu to my wife. I could see that the ansu she received was challenging in terms of physical pain, but she was able to overcome it by expressing gratitude as guided by Rev. Kim. After the ansu, I could see such a relief followed by a change in attitude of my wife towards me, and we felt closer to each other, to Heavenly Parents, and a sense of connection with our ancestors, plus a deep sense of love among each other and determination to serve more.

My wife and I applied for the central evil spirits liberation at the event, and we felt the touching heart of True Mother, resulting in shedding tears while being grateful, even during the Chanyang Yeoksa session. We felt a sense of liberation as something was lifted from us, making us feel lighter afterward.

We are deeply grateful for the HJ CheonBo special event conducted here. Right after the event, I received a call from Bitung City expecting us to provide education for their spiritual development. The spirit world is real, and it works as long as we shift our mindset and change our attitudes. One thing I realized from Rev. Kim’s message is that we need to pray and offer jeongseong, make plans, and take action. Thank you for the grace of True Parents, thank you, Heavenly Parent. We feel You, we love You. Aju.

Nendy Dea Ginting

Good morning, Heavenly Parent and True Parent. My name is Nendy Dea. For the first time, we have the opportunity to hold a Chombo event in Indonesia. This is extremely special for us, as it feels like a blessing, although it also presents challenges. As we know, Indonesia does not have as many members as Malaysia, Thailand, or the Philippines. Some might say that despite our small numbers, we can still work together to make this event a success. However, in reality, most of our members are home members living in various cities, provinces, and islands. I must admit I couldn’t contribute much due to my work and studies. Nonetheless, I still feel blessed because I had the chance to liberate my ancestors, write a wish paper, and receive inspiration to strengthen my faith.

Honestly, working and living in the outside world can be very challenging. It’s not as simple as the theories in a book. Every day feels like a battlefield for me. I have to engage with many people who are unfamiliar with the principles of True Parent. It can feel as difficult as living in the wilds of the Amazon. The outside world has shown me how some individuals can act with malice and hurt others just to get what they want. Even when we are honest and speak the truth, and even if we are good, talented, and smart, the outside world can easily undermine us.

Every day, I grow weary of people who offer advice and preach about good values, yet in reality, they behave cruelly. I often find myself asking God, “How do You want me to respond?” I face people who rationalize their bad actions, even when it involves sacrificing others. Once again, I ask God, “What do You want from me?” “Are You there, God?” “Do You hear me?” “Should I resort to the same tactics as they do to get what I want? Please, show me the way and tell me what I must do. Do not let me become someone who harms others.”

Regardless, God, please do not worry; I will not engage in those actions—not because I am unaffected, but because I do not want to create negative karma for future generations. I will wait for You. Please guide me to meet good people who can support and trust me. I also understand the importance of freeing the central spirit of evil, as my ancestors may have done something wrong to others in the past, leading to resentment. For now, I continually express my apologies.

The Chombo event inspired me greatly, especially the lecture by Rev. Kim In-Cheon. It made me realize what I need to do regarding my career. I must focus on my goals and wholeheartedly trust in how God works. I should also enjoy the process, even if it feels slow. I am grateful for what I have, what I do, and the exchanges I make with others. I believe my ancestors and the spirits I have liberated feel grateful toward me, and I hope they continually pray for my well-being. In turn, I hope that in the future, they will receive blessings, and I will welcome them.
