We held a 2-day Divine Principle workshop with the theme “Expanding the truth, to build an ideal world” for our youth at the Harmony and Peace Farm on June 22-23, 2024 with 43 participants.
The workshop began with opening remarks by the master of ceremonies, IAYSP core member Leandro Alvares, followed by a prayer by the wife of the IAYSP president, Shaniella Petra de Hernandez.
The welcoming words were given by Rev. Leonidas Belliard, who motivated the young people to pay special attention to all the lectures because these teachings would undoubtedly change their lives and connect them to God’s will.
Mr. Bernardo Cruz, National leader of the Dominican Republic gave the first lecture, “The Principles of Creation”, followed by a section of reflection, questions, and answers.
This was followed by lunch, games, and entertainment programs, the second conference, “The Human Fall”, was given by national leader Bernardo Cruz, and then we had a reflection section (questions and answers) and dinner.
The third lecture, “The Messiah’s Mission,” was given by Mr. Bernardo Cruz. The first day’s program concluded with a reflection and closing prayer.
The second day began with a reading of True Father’s autobiography, which was conducted by the president of the IAYSP, Mr. Carlos Hernandez. The first lecture of the second day was given by Mr. Carlos Hernandez, who spoke about the “principles of restoration, the family of Abraham Isaac and Jacob, Moses and Jesus’ course and the historical parallels”. There was a reflection section.
The lecture on the Second Coming of Messiah and a summary of True Parents’ life course was given by Mr. Carlos Hernandez, president of the IAYSP. Then there was a testimony by an older brother, Mr. Colon Valenzuela and closing remarks by the national leader.
Announcements of the upcoming programs of the IAYSP of the Dominican Republic were made by Mr. Carlos Hernandez. The seminar concluded with a great atmosphere where the youth expressed great interest and enthusiasm to continue studying the divine principle, join the IAYSP membership and prepare for the blessing.
