the Heavenly community of the Dominican Republic held a 3-day seminar for members of CARP and IASP From January 27 to 29, 2024, in Ciudad de Juan Adrián, Monseñor Nouel under the title “Youth studying the principle to embody the Culture of the Heart”. The purpose was to strengthen the faith of regular members and train future leaders at the Harmony and Peace Estate. We had 22 participants.
Our program began at 10 AM with opening remarks from the Regional President of IAYSP and the National President.
Lectures were given by César Regalado (Secretary General of UPF), Bernardo Cruz (National Leader of the Dominican Republic), and Carlos Hernández (Regional and National President of IASP).
Rev. Leonidas Belliard, the Sub-regional President of our Heavenly Caribbean community, provided internal guidance on the purpose of life. The main topics of the lectures included:
- The life course of True Parents
- Lineage change
- Tradition
- Value and meaning of the Blessing
In addition to in-depth studies of the main Divine Principle, a total of 16 lectures were given. Parallel sessions with regular members featured lectures for 3 new guests over the 3 days, covering key Divine Principle topics.
Throughout the seminar, there was a great atmosphere of spiritual harmony and devotion at the holy ground, also we had some joyful and interesting entertainment as well. Young participants in this seminar will attend the 21-day seminar from April 1 to 22, 2024, in HJ Cheonbo, Heavenly Korea.
In conclusion, the youth reflected and expressed gratitude to God and the True Parents for allowing them to participate in the seminar.
