The Vision and Foundation
In alignment with the heavenly directions of True Parents and the fulfillment of Vision 2020, Dr. Chung Sik Yong (Asia Continental Director and CIG Special Envoy to India) has been leading the Indian providence with profound jungsung and dedication. Following the establishment of holy grounds across 35 locations (28 States and 7 Union Territories), Dr. Yong completed a national circuit, organizing Peace Leadership Conferences in every region.
With this grand venture complete, the Indian providence stands at a critical juncture. To prepare India as a strong ally in the fulfillment of Vision 2020, the movement has identified Heavenly Tribal Messiahship as the essential “weapon” for heavenly revolution. This eternal responsibility, reemphasized by True Father in his final prayer before his ascension, remains our primary mandate.
Launch of the Tribal Messiah Revolution (May 3, 2015)
Guided by Dr. Chung Sik Yong’s leadership, FFWPU & UPF India officially commenced the Tribal Messiah revolution on May 3, 2015. Despite various limitations, Indian members—supported by 33 students from the International Peace Leadership College (IPLC) in the Philippines—worked tirelessly to mobilize for the inaugural Tribal Blessing Ceremony.
The event, held in a village in the South District of Delhi, was hosted by the family of National Leaders Rev. Krishna Adhikari and Mrs. Chatra Subba. Titled the “Interfaith Family Peace Blessing Festival” in honor of the UN International Day of Families, the event saw a remarkable turnout:
- Attendance: While 500 participants were expected, over 600 people attended (including 250 couples and 100 individuals representing their spouse).
- Officiators: The ceremony was officiated by Dr. and Mrs. Chung Sik Yong, representing True Parents.
- Interfaith Support: Six high-level religious leaders from major faiths offered prayers and expressed solidarity with the noble efforts of the UPF and FFWPU founders.
Distinguished Guests:
- Hon. Ek Nath Dhakal: Former Minister of Nepal and CIG Special Envoy.
- Dr. Lek Thaveetarmsakul: CIG Special Envoy to Thailand.
- Ambassador Ashok Sajjanhar: Former Indian Diplomat and Secretary of the National Foundation for Communal Harmony.
Expansion to Kerala (May 9, 2015)
The momentum continued in Southern India on May 9, 2015, with a second Tribal Messiah Blessing Ceremony in Kerala. This event served as the Tribal Blessing for Mr. Prince Plathottam and Mrs. Sabitha Prince (State Leaders of Kerala).
- Participation: Approximately 120 couples received the Blessing.
- Officiators: Dr. and Mrs. Chung Sik Yong again served as the representative officiators.
- Keynote: Hon. P. C. George, Member of the Legislative Assembly of Kerala, attended as the Chief Guest. He offered congratulatory remarks and expressed his support for the vision of Rev. Dr. Sun Myung Moon and Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon.
