On June 22, 2024, the first Multicultural Festival was held in Toronto’s Woodside Square under the name “All for One,” a coalition of ethnic organizations led by UPF and Peace Ambassadors, with the Peace Road event as the finale of the celebratory program.

In front of the general public, the Peace Road ceremony was attended by more than 300 representatives of political, religious, and other organizations, as well as Ambassadors for Peace.

During the event, Mr. Moon Sik Kim, the regional president explained the history of the International Highway and the Korea-Japan Undersea Tunnel and the current status of the global Peace Road movement, which began with True Mother’s inspiration and is now being held in more than 120 countries, and shared True Mother’s vision and message for the peace movement.

Afterwards, there were congratulatory remarks from federal ministers and parliamentarians who had already been appointed as Peace Ambassadors, and the Minister of Senior & Accessibility and Toronto City Councillor were appointed as new Peace Ambassadors with congratulatory remarks. Representatives from the Korean American Seniors Association and other ethnic organizations were also appointed as Ambassadors of Peace.

The ceremony also featured unique dances and entertainment performances representing each ethnic group.

The Multicultural Festival and the Peace Road event, which was initiated by the Ambassadors of Peace, has become a highly influential event in Toronto society.
