On June 1 and 2, the church of Santa Cruz, Bolivia, received a visit by a “High Noon” representative who helped to prepare and give lectures for our people, in the “Owner of your Sexuality Seminar”. We aimed to share with young people and blessed families the ideal of a culture of empowered individuals, radiant couples, and thriving families.
During the two-day seminar, 33 youth together with 35 blessed families, studied these lectures:
- Creation of Culture without Shadows
- Purity
- Nature of Addiction
- A life of Sexual Integrity
- School of Love
These lectures created an environment of reflection for young people and blessed couples, facing social problems such as pornography, addictions, and sexual intimacy, which are also problems of the unificationist family, and based on the own words of our True Parents the speakers explained How can we become families that can be located in the position of the midday sun (high noon), where there is no shadow.
It was a space where young people could truly open their hearts and understand more deeply the importance of maintaining sexual and heart purity, improving their relationships with their parents, and having a clearer purpose for their lives.
Reflections
Anonymous: I learned many things about purity and sexuality. I liked the content. They helped me reflect a lot on how I am carrying my purity. For many pastors or parents, it is very difficult to talk about sex with members, so sometimes we have to look for people outside our community to be able to open up a little more.
We as young people have many doubts and curiosities, but for fear of being reprimanded, it is very difficult. Thanks to you, I can have more confidence and live a life without shadows.
Anonymous: Well, the truth is I was very excited about the seminar, I felt that I needed those precious and important talks, I thought a lot about how it would help my spiritual growth regarding the subject, I have a younger brother, thinking about him I decided to encourage myself to participate.
Our father rarely shared these topics with us, but through Uncle Dave, I could feel the love of a father who wants his children to grow up well and be able to live in the culture of High Noon.
The aunts on the staff were very clear in all the instructions, in addition to being understanding, they showed me how sexuality and sex have such a precious and absolute value.
