The Pacific Christian Leadership Conference (PCLC) successfully piloted the two-day “God’s Dream” Seminar. On March 21, 2024, PCLC concluded Day 1 of the “God’s Dream” Seminar for selected Christian clergies held at the Philippines Headquarters. The purpose was to share lecture contents on True Parents theology from a Christian perspective, developed by Dr. Robert S. Kittel, Co-Chair of the PCLC, and to gather valuable feedback and constructive comments from the clergies, drawing upon their wealth of knowledge and experience in Christian theology.
The event was attended by 10 clergies onsite and 3 online, with additional participation from FFWPU Philippine leaders. Dr. Kittel presented three updated lectures on God’s Heart and Nature, God’s Grief, and The Essence of Jesus. Throughout the day, participants listened attentively and demonstrated a high level of understanding of the content. Each lecture was followed by engaging discussions, during which clear comments, questions, and suggestions for improvement were raised, indicating the clergies’ comprehension of Dr. Kittel’s presentations.
Despite the challenging nature of some theological perspectives presented by Dr. Kittel, personal relationships established between Dr. Kittel, other leaders, and the clergies ensured that all participants remained engaged and committed to the discourse. The presence of open dialogue encouraged everyone to express their thoughts and feelings freely, fostering an atmosphere of mutual respect and encouragement. Furthermore, each participant provided an evaluation or reflection following the seminar.
Under the guidance of President Hori, Dr. Kittel remains dedicated to the fulfillment of this important work, assisting True Mother in implementing necessary theological changes within our movement and facilitating their dissemination to a wider Christian audience.
The next session is scheduled for April 4, where the same clergies will reconvene at the same venue and time for the remaining three lectures.
