The 18th PCLC Online Fellowship, which was held in celebration of the UN International Family Day on May 21, 2024, gathered participants from various countries and denominations for a virtual fellowship centered on the theme “God’s Dream: One Family Under God.” The event, guided by the scripture Ephesians 6:1-2, emphasized the importance of honoring and obeying parents within the context of faith.

The fellowship gathered 505 overall participants coming from 23 nations across the Asia Pacific region including Japan and South Korea. Out of this number, 152 joined via Zoom while 340 and 13 attended through Facebook and YouTube, respectively. Forty-nine individuals also joined different group watch party in different nations.

This month’s fellowship holds particular significance as it follows closely after the 2024 Cosmic Blessing, celebrating the 64th Anniversary of True Parent’s Holy Wedding.

Rev. Masaichi Hori, Chairman of the PCLC Executive Committee, provided insightful opening remarks, setting the tone for the fellowship.

Archbishop Elias T. Soria, National Coordinator of PCLC Philippines, delivered a powerful message, delving into the theme of the fellowship and specifically tackling PCLC’s participation in the recently held blessing organized by the World Clergy Leadership Conference in Korea. He shared about how the event was indeed a celebration of marriage and families realizing God’s dream and ideal to build one family under God.

Three PCLC couples who joined the Blessing event and pilgrimage in Korea each shared their personal reflections on the theme of the fellowship as well their life-changing experience in Korea. Bishop Dr. Suraphol and Mrs. Chusri Boonpratham from Thailand, Dr. Jaime and Mrs. Consuelo Cempron from the Philippines, and Rev. Bismarck and Mrs. Leilani Tamati from Samoa gave powerful testimonies about their recent experience and offered their unique perspectives on family life, faith, and the importance of upholding God’s dream of a united family. They recognized the great work and sacrifice of Father and Mother Moon in building the blessed family movement to realize a world of peace based on ideal families.

The fellowship concluded with a renewed commitment from all participants to strive towards achieving the vision of “One Family Under God.”
