Heavenly North America 2: Canada Activity Report

Dear True Mother,
With the goal to unite with the grace of Cheon Shim Won, the Blessed family members in Canada have been conducting vigil prayers every Monday to Friday at 10 PM since July. On October 12 and 13, the Montreal church hosted a Cheon Shim Won event. Approximately 120 members, including members from Montreal and Toronto, registered for the event, where all participants experienced the resurrection through liberation of central evil spirits, Ancestor Liberation Ceremony, Chanyang, Ansu, lectures, etc. Director Jin Hwa Jeong of the Cheon Shim Won North America Branch worked with the trained Ansu staff of the CheonBo Training Center. I believe that it was a time for all the leaders and members to pass through the fire of grace as one unified congregation.
There are now 16 missionaries in Canada, including 13 missionaries from UPA and Heavenly Top Gun. Also, 3 missionaries who are currently in their third year of UPA came as short-term missionaries. Recently, we have given them the opportunity to preach True Parents’ Theology to the congregation, and we also organized a 1-day seminar where they gave lectures using developed contents centered on True Parents’ Theology. The Heavenly Top Gun missionaries are working on themselves to become genuine missionaries through various witnessing and outreach activities. Also, we are pleased to report that four new guests in Vancouver who attended the 1-day seminar had victoriously signed their church membership form.
On October 26, we hosted the ‘Ambassadors for Peace Banquet’ in Markham, a suburb of Toronto, which brought together over 200 leaders, including members of the parliament, city councilors, and chairs of Toronto’s community organizations, as well as Ambassadors for Peace.
The ‘Ambassadors for Peace Banquet’ is an event commemorating the birth and Holy Marriage of True Parents and has been held annually since 2014, in Vancouver in the Spring and Toronto in the Fall. The main objective is to educate and witness to the world about the life and work of True Parents to local VIPs and leaders to expand the foundation of peace ambassadors and the foundation of the Unification movement. As the theme of this year’s event was “Honoring women,” we held the event in collaboration with the Women’s Federation for World Peace.
On this event, the current Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau, sent a congratulatory letter. One of our Peace Ambassadors has a great relationship with the Prime Minister’s office and promotes this event every year. Also, since I met with the Prime Minister last year, he is familiar with UPF. In addition to the Prime Minister, there was a speech from Laura Smith MP, a speech from the Acting Mayor, and congratulatory remarks from the three core Peace Ambassadors.
A video highlighting True Mother’s life and peace movement was shown, followed by a keynote speech by Karey Moffitt, the WFWP President of North America. She emotionally highlighted True Mother’s life and testified about True Mother’s life, peace ideas, and the peace movement.
Under the name of ‘Ambassadors for Peace Banquet,’ we will continue to move forward to make this annual event a success in the Toronto community. This event will further promote True Parents to the world through political, media and social leaders and organizations.

Heavenly Top Gun Activity ( Canada Missionary)
Dear Wang Omma, the True Mother of heaven, earth, and humankind,
Greetings from Vancouver, Canada. As the season shifts to Autumn, the weather is starting to become colder and it is starting to rain more often here in Vancouver. It seems like the cold weather makes my longing heart for True Mother grow deeper. True Mother, I hope you are always warm and healthy.
On October 19, we held our second 1-Day True Parents’ Theology Seminar. In continuation from last time, the theme of the 1-day seminar was “Heavenly Parent’s Dream, the Original Significance of Jesus, and True Parents.” Through this seminar, we were able to introduce the Only Begotten Daughter and True Parents.
Two weeks beforehand, we had been praying and preparing for this day. But we were worried that the seminar would have to be cancelled because none of our invites were able to attend. However, two days before the event, one of our guests notified us of his availability to participate. It was nothing short of a miracle that we were able to invite someone who has known us for less than a week.
I would like to introduce one of our members in Vancouver named ‘Benjamin’ and share his story and results in witnessing. One day, he was sitting on the side of the road crying because despite his eagerness to witness, he could not find someone willing to listen. At that moment, someone came up to him and asked him why he was crying. Benjamin explained saying that he wanted to testify to the truth, but he didn’t have anyone to share it with. Touched by this, this person volunteered to listen with an open mind. Since then, Benjamin has been witnessing to this person. To this extent, Benjamin goes out to witness every day.
Benjamin already brought four guests to the 1-day seminar, and I would like to introduce one of them. Last week, while Benjamin was casually walking alone on the street, this person suddenly stops his car and randomly starts having a conversation with him. This became an opportunity to invite him to the church and he eventually attended the 1-day seminar. This guest is a Christian from Ghana. And I still can ‘t believe how it was possible to invite him to the seminar in less than a week. This made me realize that even in difficult situations where things seem impossible, if we don’ t give up and fulfill our responsibilities, heaven will work through us. It made me reflect deeply on how self-centered I was in my preparations for witnessing.
Even though it was the first time for this guest and everything in the seminar is new for him, I can see that he understood it well. I feel inspired seeing this guest come all they to the church for the seminar. Despite our daily prayers and sincere devotions, I sometimes struggle with staying hopeful. However, I was able to regain hope through Benjamin’s witnessing stories and results.
Benjamin’s life of faith is proof that it is possible to find the prepared people and to testify about True Parents. We are being revitalized and energized by the enthusiasm of the Blessed families in the field. There are members in the field who love True Parents so much that they can’t help but share the Truth to others. Together with the Blessed family members, we will revive Vancouver.

Heavenly North America 2: Canada Activity Report

Dear True Mother,
I hope that you are in good health when you receive this letter and that you are feeling spiritual support from all of us in the field. I would like to express my heartfelt love and gratitude to you for your daily dedication so that next year the Cheon Won Gung Cheon Il Sanctum can be triumphantly dedicated to our Heavenly Parent on this earth as an eternal abode. We are truly honored to be living in this age, where in the final temple is being completed. I believe this to be the victory of many great religions of the world. This is thanks to you!
True Mother, as this is my first time writing to you, I first would like to introduce myself. My name is Andrea Kuhn and I received the Blessing with my German husband, Boris Kuhn, in 1992. We have a son, a daughter and one granddaughter. I am a second generation from England and my parents are Walter and Christine Morauf. My parents were chosen to be Canada’s national messiahs, but my mother passed away a few years after moving to Canada. My husband and I felt we needed to take over their responsibilities, so we came to Canada and became Canadian citizens.
Currently, I am working as the BFD Director in Canada, and I also work as a coordinator for the national matching supporters and a family care coordinator for Heavenly North America 1. Since there are not much Blessed family members in Canada, we often work with members in the United States, and we provide many programs for both regions. Another honorable task I currently have is to help Hoon Sook Nim find a match for her daughter, True Mother’s granddaughter, Shin Wol Nim. This experience has made me deeply realize how heavy a burden the True Family is carrying and how much they are sacrificing for the world. I sincerely apologize for my shortcomings, and I will do my best to help them become a happy and victorious couple so that all True Grandchildren can receive the Blessing and inherit everything from True Mother.
Here in Canada, the BDF Department team consists of three 2nd generation sisters, two 1st generation brothers, and me. Everyone has been working very hard over the past few months and we have reached out to all the families with children who are old enough to receive the Blessing. We have a list of all the eligible single candidates, and we are praying for them and reaching out to them as much as we can. We are also meeting with those who have left our community and found a partner outside the church to let them know how much Heavenly Parent want to embrace them and welcome them back into your lineage. Every two weeks we hold online training and networking meetings for all the parents in Canada and the United States to help them find spouses for their children.
We are all working hard right now to help all our single candidates find their matches. Since we have a small number of families, our matches are mostly international and interracial. Our members here in Canada have truly crossed all national and racial barriers and do not see them as obstacles. In this way, they have a deep desire and understanding of what it means to be part of the one global family. There is a total of 103 single candidates in Canada who are eligible for the Blessing. There are 53 brothers and 34 sisters who are Blessed children, and nine brothers and seven sisters who are 1st generation members. Many are sincerely praying that they will find their partner and attend the Blessing in 2025. We currently have four couples who have had engagement ceremonies. In addition, we have seven couples who are open to receive 2nd and 1st generation Blessing. We are hoping that they will receive guidance soon so that they can prepare well for the Blessing.
True Mother, this is my heartfelt report to you. I apologize that I have not been able to offer you more by now, but together with our leaders, President Moon Sik Kim and Dr. Franco Famularo, we are determined to do everything in our power to bring as many people as possible to the Blessing and next year’s Cheon Won Gung Entrance Ceremony. I pray that your burden will be lightened and that you will have more energy and hope for the coming months.
