Zambia Tong-Il Moo-Do Federation National Dojang. The Zambia Tong-Il Moo-Do Federation conducted its National Grading Ceremony on Saturday, September 12, 2026, from 10:00 to 17:00 local time, at the Federation National Dojang in Zambia. The purpose of the ceremony was to assess technical competence, character, and understanding of Tong-Il Moo-Do philosophy for advancement through the belt system.
The ceremony brought together 30 grading candidates ranging from Yellow Belt to Brown Belt, along with additional attendees. The grading was officiated by Master Kouame, Instructor Zulu Michael, and Instructor Luckson Miti. Each candidate was evaluated against the technical requirements prescribed for their respective belt levels, confirming steady progress within the Federation’s structured pathway of martial-arts development.
A defining feature of the ceremony was the integration of martial-arts assessment with philosophy testing. In addition to completing their technical requirements, all 30 candidates passed the Tong-Il Moo-Do philosophy examination appropriate to their belt levels, achieving a 100 percent pass rate. This component assessed more than technical knowledge; it affirmed that advancement in rank is connected to the development of values, discipline, moral purpose, and responsible conduct. The result reflects the Federation’s commitment to an education model that develops martial-arts competence together with character and moral understanding.
The ceremony was graced by Mr. Vincent Banda, Chief Inspector of Immigration at Immigration Headquarters, as the distinguished VIP guest.
