Glasgow, Scotland: On Saturday, May 24, 2026, the Peace and Purpose Centre in Glasgow successfully hosted its very first one-day workshop. Bringing together guests and second-generation youth, the event served as an intimate, educational, and deeply engaging introduction to core foundational principles. The day was defined by a warm, supportive atmosphere, high-quality lectures, and meaningful community building.

The workshop ran from 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM, carefully structured to balance intensive learning with interactive discussion and reflection.

Core Curriculum and Lectures

The core educational curriculum consisted of three vital lectures, which provided a comprehensive and clear overview of the Divine Principle worldview:

  1. The Principle of Creation
  2. The Human Fall
  3. The Providence of Restoration

The presentations were dynamically delivered by Dale and Peter, whose inspiring lectures set a profound tone for the day. Demonstrating true pastoral care, both speakers remained long after the sessions concluded to provide personalized answers to the participants’ deeper questions.

Youth Leadership and Community Impact

A total of two guests and four second-generation members attended the inaugural event. The second-generation youth played a pivotal role in the day’s success—actively hosting the new guests, leading the breakout discussions, and ensuring a warm, welcoming environment for everyone. Following the educational blocks, the schedule concluded with dedicated group activities and a collective heart-sharing session.

Conclusion and Written Reflections

The workshop concluded with a written reflection session. The feedback gathered from the participants’ responses demonstrated a remarkably deep comprehension of the material and a genuine appreciation for the spiritual insights gained.

Despite this being the centre’s first official one-day workshop, the program flowed seamlessly from start to finish. Fueled by the overwhelming success of this initial initiative, the Glasgow team is energized, well-coordinated, and already actively planning their next workshop to maintain this positive momentum.
