On February 15, 2025, a meaningful community teaching project was successfully conducted in Sitio Upper Hinapao, Antipolo City, Rizal. This initiative, organized by the Sangguniang Kabataan of San Jose in collaboration with the International Association of Youth and Students for Peace (IAYSP), FFWPU Youth, and the Sitio Hinapao Katipunan ng Kabataan Officials, aimed to encourage young children to actively participate and serve their community.
The event attracted a total of 94 participants, including children, youth volunteers, and local leaders. The teaching sessions focused on instilling values of leadership, cooperation, and community service among the children. Through engaging activities and interactive discussions, the young participants gained valuable insights into the importance of unity and their contributions to society.
This initiative was significant as it provided a platform for children to develop a sense of responsibility and involvement in community-building efforts. The collaboration among various youth organizations and local officials underscored the collective effort to nurture future leaders and foster a culture of service.
With the success of this project, the organizers hope to inspire more initiatives that empower youth to take active roles in their communities, ultimately paving the way for a more engaged and service-oriented generation.

“It’s been a long time since I participated in a service project focused on educating children. I am grateful to the Sangguniang Kabataan for hosting this activity, which allowed us to spread joy to the children while also educating them to grow into youths who can contribute to society. I hope we can have more activities like this to further improve our community. Thank you so much for such an amazing experience.”
