A Letter to True Mother Regarding the Activity Report for January 2025, by Dr. Yong Cheon Song, Director General of World Mission Headquarters
Dear True Mother,
The New Year 2025 begun with new hope inspired by our True Mother. Witnessing the urgency of the providence, I feel a deep sense of sorrow and remorse for our shortcomings. You have tirelessly led the providence with unwavering determination, not resting even for a day. We commit to internalizing True Mother’s messages for the new year in our hearts, striving to become true sons and daughters in the 13th year of Cheon Il Guk We will fulfill the responsibilities and the mission of the World Mission Headquarters, united with True Parents.
With just 86 days remaining until the Cheon Won Gung Entrance Ceremony, the World Mission Headquarters is working closely with the Cheon Mu Won, established by True Mother. We are ‘continuously moving forward’ to bring joy and glory to Heaven through our dedicated efforts and sincere devotions. We pledge to transforming the World Mission Headquarters into an organization capable of offering reports of victory to our beloved True Mother. I would like to share the activities of the World Mission Headquarters and our providential efforts for the month of January.
[Report by World Mission Headquarters: Strategic Meeting for the Victory of Single Blessing]
First, I would like to report on the activities of the World Mission Headquarters. Recently, in preparation for the Blessing Ceremony of the Entrance Ceremony of the Cheon Il Sanctum in Cheon Won Gung, the Blessed Family Department of the World Mission Headquarters held the “Strategic Meeting for the Victory of Single Blessing” centering on the New Year Motto given by True Mother from January 14 to 16. The Regional President, Regional Vice President, Sub-regional Presidents, BFD Directors, related personnel, and matching supporters for each region participated in the meeting. A total of 500 individuals gathered online from each region to discuss strategies and action plans aimed at increasing the number of Heavenly Parent’s children.
Since True Mother’s words during the leaders’ conference on April 30, 2024, ‘Now, all the regions should focus on Single Blessing,’ we have been continuously encouraging the field to do its best to achieve victory in the Single Blessing. Over the past 10 months, the Blessed Family Department of the World Mission Headquarters has been diligently working by conducting online conferences with the mission field globally. Our aim has been to increase the number of unmarried blessings to offer the greatest joy and glory to Heavenly Parent and True Parents at the Entrance Ceremony of the Cheon Il Sanctum in Cheon Won Gung.
As a result, we selected strategic churches and youth churches on each continent to establish strategies that can lead to revival at the church level and lay the foundation for achieving substantial church growth through consistent support and management.
There are about three months left until the ‘2025 Hyojeong Cosmic Blessing Ceremony’. According to statistics, approximately 40% of Blessed couples consist of those who were matched and have chosen to receive the Blessing within a three-month timeframe. During this crucial time, the leaders, including the Regional Presidents, united in purpose to dedicate the victory of the Single Blessing to Heavenly Parent and True Parents through this conference.
The following are several exemplary cases presented during the strategic meeting.
- In Heavenly South America, a case was shared in which the pastor’s wives are contacting 300 inactive second-generation members in Brazil and leading them to receive the Special Grace and the Blessing. They are offering name-calling prayers and sincere devotions in the Cheon Shim Won of each church. So far, 54 people have confirmed their attendance to receive the Special Grace, and several couples have completed the preparations to receive the Blessing.
- In Heavenly Europe, a French second-generation member who is fluent in Portuguese was matched with a young woman from Brazil. He was drawn to her profile because he could feel her genuine love for Heavenly Parents and True Parents, which allowed for effective communication between them, confirming that she is a wonderful person. After five months of communication, the woman traveled to France to meet him, and together they decided to offer sincere devotions and receive the Blessing as an international couple at the 2025 Blessing Ceremony.
- In Heavenly America, a Second-Generation member who was initially skeptical about the Blessing had a transformative experience during last year’s Blue Dragon Tour, where he felt the love of Heavenly Parent. While praying at the Cheon Shim Won, he realized the significance and necessity of the Blessing. Determined, he prepared for the Blessing by having open and sincere conversations with his parents and building up his faith and devotion. Although his first matching process was not successful, he continued to believe in Heavenly Parent’s plan and made steady efforts to find his future spouse. He eventually met someone who was for him, and they decided to attend the Blessing ceremony.
- Heavenly Asia-Pacific is creating an online platform to enhance the effectiveness of the matching process. They are consistently consulting and guiding both matching supporters and candidates. Additionally, they are conducting online consultations for candidates who are in communication and are actively encouraging the candidates to engagement, and eventually participate in the Blessing Ceremony.
- For the case of Heavenly Africa, a preparatory seminar for Blessing candidates was attended by 150 young members in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Additionally, 3-day, 7-day, and 21-day Blessing workshops were conducted, involving a total of 90 second-generation participants. Significant efforts are being made to ensure that as many young members in Africa attend the 2025 Blessing Ceremony.
After hearing reports from the mission field, I highlighted the importance of ushering into a new era and fulfilling the providence through the Entrance Ceremony of the Cheon Il Sanctum in Cheon Won Gung. I conveyed True Mother’s heartfelt desire for all inactive second-generation and first-generation members to be restored and receive the Blessing. Additionally, I recommended that each church compile a name list of all inactive members and work systematically while offering sincere devotions. I stressed once more that we should meet all the inactive members at least seven times to extend the love and hope to all.
I will do my best to achieve the goals set for each region in the three months remaining until the Blessing Ceremony, in unity with Mother’s earnest desire for all second-generation and first-generation members to receive the Blessing. I would like to express my deepest gratitude to you, True Mother, for your constant love and grace. I will do my best to bring glory to Heavenly Parent.
[Activity Reports of Churches]
The following are reports from churches around the world.
- The Pokhara Church in Nepal reported an increase in the number of members from two to 21 in the past year. Pastor Dipak has connected church activities, such as regular visitation of inactive members, witnessing, and workshops, to the of inviting guest to Sunday Service. Now, the church is run independently by young adults.
Sub-regional President Moruti of Heavenly Africa reported that ②Mozambique had 65 people attend the 21-day True Parents Theology Workshop, ③South Africa held a Cheon Shim Won Dedication Ceremony in Johannesburg and Cape Town. This ushered in a history of becoming one in spirit with the Cheon Shim Won in Heavenly Korea. ④Zimbabwe is holding weekly workshops on True Parents Theology at the Cheon Shim Won for the members of Heavenly Tribal Messiahs, providing precious time to teach them about the essence of Heavenly Parent and the truth of the 2,000-year history of Christianity.
[Plan: Attending the ‘Heavenly EUME Youth Workshop’ in Albania]
Mother, I am planning to go to Albania for a five-day trip. As instructed by you, True Mother, I will depart on January 24th (KST) and return to Korea on the afternoon of the 28th. I will be going to take part in the “Heavenly EUME Youth Workshop” at the Durres Training Center in Albania. Centering on Missionary Moon Shin Chul, the workshop will be attended by the first phase of Heavenly Top Gun missionaries and about 100 youth leaders of Heavenly Europe and the Middle East to discuss the role, mission, and activities of young people for 2025.
I will attend the entire schedule together and have a deep conversation about the providence and direction of True Mother. I also plan comfort and encourage the Heavenly Top Gun missionaries for their commitment and dedication despite difficult and challenging circumstances.
I will give speeches based to the New Year Motto and words given by Mother on January 1 and provide guidance on the proper attitude and mindset young leaders to testify to True Parents and pioneer the future. On the third day, which is a holy day, we will have a precious time to share the mother’s feelings and circumstances through her recent providence with all the members of the Albanian family.
The day after returning to Korea, on 29 January, is the Lunar New Year. On the first day of the New Year, 1.1 by the Heavenly Calendar on the 13th year of Cheon Il Guk, I look forward to give my first report for this year to offer joy and glory to you, True Mother.
Mother, last January was a precious and precious day when you gave us the pledge to always remember and practice throughout our lives for the 13th year of Cheon Il Guk. You reminded us of how precious it is to live a life without shadows, knowing the direction and speed of the Providence. We realize that a new era and a new history, the Providence of Cheon Il Guk has begun with the 13th year of Cheon Il Guk.
I want to become a true son of Cheon Il Guk who is no longer living like a blind and dumb person in the past, but is now living without hesitation, united with True Parents, and fulfilling the responsibility of the chosen people with only one direction and one purpose. To welcome that glorious day, the World Mission Headquarters will continue to communicate with the mission field and empathize with the members, regardless of day or night, in one mind and one body with Mother. I feel sorry and humbled when I think of True Mother, who cannot even take a break over as she leads the providence of Heavenly America.
