The International Association of Youth and Students for Peace—Bicol Chapter, in cooperation with the Family Federation for World Peace—Philippines and High Noon Philippines, organized a two-day Pure Water Seminar under the theme “Live a Life Without Shadow” from October 5-6, 2024, at the Albay Provincial Campsite, Barangay Basag, Ligao City, Albay. The event attracted 50 students.
On the first day of the seminar, Mr. Angelito Cainday, President of IAYSP-Pilipinas and the National Director of the FFWPU-Philippines Youth Department, delivered a talk on “Life’s Blueprint.” He emphasized the original design of human life and the relationship between God and human beings.
Following this, Mr. Andrew Love, the Executive Director of High Noon International, presented lectures on topics such as the Value of Sexual Integrity, Ownership of Sexuality, Attraction versus Addiction, and overcoming shame. His presentations captivated the participants as they explored ways to maintain purity and understand the roots of addiction.
On the second day, Mr. Ravie Malaza, Chapter President of High Noon Philippines, shared his testimony about the organization’s mission and work. Subsequently, Mr. Angelito Cainday gave a lecture on Grit and introduced the Youth Development Program of IAYSP and the FFWPU-Youth Department.
Beyond the lectures, participants engaged in group discussions to enhance their understanding of the topics and took part in team-building activities to strengthen their connections with fellow attendees. The participants enjoyed the seminar, with some expressing interest in learning more about High Noon’s programs.
