We hosted a 7-day Divine Principle workshop for our youth from September 1 to September 7, 2024, at the Kathrina Stinard Training Center in Accra. The workshop had 29 participants, including second-generation, Jacob’s children, and first-generation children of our movement.
Our aim was to provide our youth with the opportunity to study and reflect on a deeper understanding of the essence of God, the essence of Jesus, and the essence of True Parents. Additionally, we focused on studying and reflecting on True Mother’s role as the Only Begotten Daughter so that participants could cultivate a sense of a loving community and express a strong sense of responsibility within the second generation, the youth, and our movement in our nation.
Rev. Tegha King delivered lectures on the principle of creation and the advent of the Messiah, while the National Leader, Rev. James Adu, discussed the Fall of Man and the principle of restoration. The IAYSP President, Sugil Aboagye, shared his testimony of meeting True Mother face-to-face in Sao Tome. Finally, the Special Youth Envoy for West Africa, Godson Oguri, spoke on various aspects of Chambumo (True Parents’ values and statutes in Heaven’s providence).
During the workshop, participants engaged in group discussions, sports, birthday celebrations, Divine Principle teaching practice, and written tests, providing opportunities to share testimonies and experiences with one another.
At the closing ceremony, all participants were awarded certificates of participation, and a select few received special recognition for their outstanding performance in the written test or the teaching practice.
