Cambodia TIMD
The Cambodian Tong Il Moo Do Federation cooperated with the Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sport and held the Training Workshop 2023 at FFWPU Cambodia headquarters from November 15 to 19 2023. There were 22 sportsmen and women registered to attend the whole program.
During this training workshop, besides learning and practicing martial arts, participants also studied the HJ Character Education with the Principle of True Love, including The Principle of Dual Characteristics, the Principle of Give and Take Action, the Principle of Higher Purpose, the Principle of 3 orderly Stages of Growth, and Principle of Freedom with Responsibility.
Going through the TIMD training, participants could understand that by living based on a TIMD principled life style they can fulfill the 3 main purposes of TIMD: 1. Building mature character, 2. Building a happy and ideal family and 3. Contributing to society.
In the closing ceremony on November 19, 2023, there were over 50 people attended presided by Dr. Charles S. Yang, UPF’s International Chair who as the representative of True Parents spoke to the participants emphasizing the importance of martial arts and especially TIMD Principles. He said all those who practice martial arts need to live a life feeling the presence of Heavenly Parent and True Parents at all times.
