The inauguration of the Cheonshim Won Special Prayer Hall in Cameroon took place on Sunday on March 5, 2023. The ceremony was officiated by the Regional President Rev. Jean Pierre Kadima and attended by over 200 members connected via zoom from various churches across sub-region 3 (Central sub-region) of Shin Africa. Present in the prayer hall were the Regional S.G for shin Africa (Rev. Edwin Plekhanov), National leader of Cameroon (Rev. Nchia Kamran Nuifahnu), Pastors, leaders of providential organizations in Cameroon while the Director of Planification and Main Lecturer of HJ Cheon Bo Africa (Rev. Ahonjo Eugène) joined via zoom.

In preparation to inaugurate the prayer Hall, the national leader of Cameroon led blessed families in offering a 4-day Vigil prayer and partial fasting for these 4 days.

The inauguration ceremony started at exactly at 11:10 a.m., immediately after the sub regional Sunday service. The opening prayer was offered by Pastor Leocadie, the pastor of Douala PK 8 pastoral mission. Victoria Tching-bobe, president of IAYSP Cameroon, read the HDH which was True Mother’s Message at Cheon Hwa Gung, Las Vegas, USA April 30, 2022. The installation of the holy items (candles, lighting of the candles and the installation of the ancestor’s house) was coordinated by Rev. Edwin Plekhanov, representing the Regional president on site and assisted by the National Sanmonim, Mrs. Marthe Nuifahnu. This ceremony took about 15 minutes.

After lighting the main candle from Korea and transmitting the flame to all the 8 candles, the flame was transmitted to the National Leader Rev. Nchia Kamran Nuifahnu, who was holding a candle representing the nation. In order to offer this prayer hall to heavenly parents and True parents, the Regional President Rev. Jean Pierre Kadima offered a fervent and profound prayer of gratitude and benediction to Heavenly parents and True Parents. After the prayer of regional president, the Rev. Ahonjo Eugene gave the congratulatory remarks encouraging and laying emphasis on the proper use of the prayer hall.

To conclude this ceremony, the national leader, gave the closing remarks and mentioned that the candles are always supposed to remain lit. Next we offered a full bow and a second generation blessed member (Hae Joo Goldman Nyari) led the offering of four cheers of OK MANSEI! The event ended with a family picture to make this day memorable.
