The Family Federation for World Peace Unification and CARP of Argentina organized the 21-day International Seminar in Cañuelas, Buenos Aires, Argentina. From January 9 to 29, 2023. Under the motto: “Deep roots for lasting happiness in the Cheon Il Guk Era”.
The educational content was based on the Divine Principle, Life and Work of True Parents, the Value of the Blessing, The Tradition, Formula Course, Education about the Life of Faith and Spiritual World, Public Life Education and Leadership.
The participants were grouped into teams, between 8 and 9 participants, with a coordinator as captain. This coordinator stands out for having carried out the education and training program in Argentina (formula course from 1 to 2 years).
Each team has various responsibilities and competes in all sports, academic activities (Divine Principle exams), value workshops, artistic, etc. The aim of teamwork is to train them to fully understand and apply the principles and values in practice.
It should be noted that the 21 days Seminar is the start of the Formula Course, therefore, at the end of the seminar, 4 participants decided to continue a second year of the full-time formula course and 11 began their first year.
Young people under 16 years of age were connected with SungHwa and those over 16 under the coordination of CARP.
In total there were 51 participants from the following nations; Rica, Colombia, Peru, Bolivia Chile, Paraguay, Uruguay, Mexico and Brazil. Of which 29 are second generation and 22 are first generation, 15 of them new guests.
At the closing ceremony, Rev. Sung Jong Seo, president of Subregion 2 of Heavenly Latin America, from Korea via ZOOM offered words of inspiration and thanks to all the participants.
Reminding young people of the importance of participating in the Seminars since according to the words of Our True Parents, a Seminar is a Training to cultivate our original mind. He emphasizes to the young people to give importance to our heavenly mind, let’s eliminate all the bad things that we have kept up to now and through our good practices, love and serve others, let’s keep good things within our seed of the heavenly mind. We need to clean ourselves, purify ourselves through self-discipline and training.
