Father speech on February 11, 2000 – Publication of 300 Volumes of Father’s Words
I am grateful that you have come to this celebration of the publishing of these books. I understand there are leaders of many kinds among you. And where will all you people go when the celebration is over? You will go back home, won’t you?
Home is the place of the greatest love for the grandfather, for the grandmother, for parents, for married couples and for brothers and sisters. Original human nature likes the greatest love. That is why people must inevitably go back home. That is the conclusion.
Those who really love their grandfather and mother can love the leader of their nation. Those who can love the leader of their nation can love God. This is a conclusion based on common sense.
I would like to give you an excerpt of the 300 volumes. What does God of the original root family like? Aside from how much He liked His son and the daughter, just think about how much He would have liked the family in which his son and daughter could live. Wouldn’t He have wanted to see his son and daughter marry and become a couple? Would He or wouldn’t He? He really wanted to see it. He really wanted to be a grandfather.
Then, you grandfathers and grandmothers, what are you going to be? You can be the sons and daughters who inherit the right of God’s universe. You could be the princes and princesses, the kings and queens of the whole universe.
Love has the power to grant equal partnership. It has the power to put people on equal footing. It has the power of inheritance. When you love, when you become husband and wife, there is the power of equality. You can go where your husband goes, you can participate. The wife can represent the husband and the children can represent the parents. This kind of switching of positions is only possible in love.
God, who has almighty, creative power, is in the position of the father, so what is it like to be in the position of his son who is equal to the father? If the father is the king of the whole universe and creation, the children can be the kings and queens and they can talk about everything in the ideal world of the heavenly kingdom. It is a very logical and fair assessment to say that they would discuss the idea of family, clan, tribe, nation and the world.
Then where can you find the lord of love? Where does the origin of life fuse? Where do the blood lineages fuse together?
A man cannot find the way of love of parents, of married couples, of children on his own. If that is the case for a man, wouldn’t it also be the case for woman as well? Your original mind thinks that your spouse represents the universe, heaven and earth. A man can become the master of love only through his wife.
The reason that you can be in the position of a lord who can love a woman comes from your wife, the one you married for the first time. This is such a treasure, but people ignore it. Your spouse makes you the lord. On the other hand, a woman does not have something that enables her to serve a husband as her lord. Only her husband qualifies her to be able to love a man. You should understand this. Love cannot be one-sided. It is reciprocal relationship. And the value does not stem from you, but from your spouse.
If we apply this further, who are the lords who makes someone a grandfather or grandmother? It is their grandchildren. Who qualifies people to be mothers and fathers? Not themselves, but their sons and daughters.
If you don’t understand this it is a pity. This world is so fallen if an older brother doesn’t know the fact that his younger brother qualifies him to be a master of love as an older brother, and a younger brother doesn’t know the fact that his older brother qualifies him to be a master of love as a younger brother.
True love is serving others in the vertical relationship, the horizontal relationship, the front and back relationship and the circular relationship. Let’s say there is a house signifying the prototype of love. You should be the one who can love not only the house but also the entire neighborhood. Only then can love truly be settled in that house. That is the family and the original home you have to look for. Then what is precious among love, life and lineage?
Love is over in one generation. Blood lineage is eternal. Even the cells of the first human ancestors are within the four trillion cells of the human body. That’s what the blood lineage is. All the cells of the all the evil ancestors in the fallen world are in one human body. That is why we have to repair this. This is the wild olive tree. Without the true olive tree there is nowhere they can be engrafted and be mended. What does the true olive tree mean? It means humanity hoped to create utopia in the human world, passing through the Old, New and Completed Testament ages. What everyone has been looking for is the messianic ideology. The Messiah should be able to cleanse the blood lineage.
In a family, the grandfather and grandmother are the ambassadors sent by the heavenly kingdom. Our mother and father were sent to be the kings and queens of the present kingdom on this earth, the center of this universe. Grandchildren are loved by their grandparents and their parents. Since grandchildren receive love from their grandparents and their parents, they are inheriting two kingdoms: one in heaven and one on earth. That is why this inheritance has a foundation that can prosper eternally. Grandchildren are the seeds of love representing the heavenly kingdom as the center of the heavenly king and earthly kingdom. They are the central path of this nation and the center of the king of the nation.
Adam’s mind and body, where God should have dwelt, were dominated by Satan through Eve because Eve seduced Adam. Since the blood lineage was created centered on the unity between Adam and Eve, and that unity has been dominated by Satan, that lineage can never change even after 100 million years have passed. Humankind had the messianic ideology — the ideology of the Savior — with which to create the new lineage by cutting off [from the bad lineage]. throughout the history of the Old and New Testament ages. You must understand this. Fallen parents are false parents. Therefore true parents should come and stop the fighting between God and Satan’s side.
That is the authority of the True Parents. God cannot do whatever He wants to do. Only because True Parents have come can the war between God and Satan be stopped. This is the first time you’ve heard this, isn’t it? That is the principle of the creation of the universe. True Parents have brought unique, unchanging and eternal value to the individual, to the family, to the nation, to all of heaven and earth, and even to God, and there should come a time when Satan even accepts them and the gates of hell will be opened. The time of liberation will come.
That’s how the age of freedom and liberty, without a trace of the fall, will come to pass. The entire history of heaven and earth can create the heavenly kingdom of universal unification, centered on brotherly love and on God. The utopian Earth is our hometown and the heavenly kingdom is our motherland, where we can live forever centered on God, who is the king of kings, and centered on love of the family ideal. Only when you find and settle in such a hometown and motherland can you be free from persecution and hardship and realize a world of freedom and liberty. If I have spoken a lot of things today in my speech, the essence is this: What is most important is the blood lineage. Please Say it! [Blood lineage!]
Your families have to feel the need of the Messiah, True Parents. Not only your families, but also your whole clans should absolutely feel a need for the True Parents. By the clans I mean seven generations. The whole clan unified into one without any conflict or division should be able to invest and serve all people, going beyond the tribal level.
Connected in such a way, the world could be one of freedom and liberty. Human beings have the value of being representative princes and princesses who have the right of inheritance, right of participation, and right of equal value. This is centered on the right of ownership over all things and all the people in the universe starting from the individual, to the family, clan, tribe, nation and the heavenly world, in the embrace of God.
God is the True Parent of humankind. God is the True Teacher of humankind. God is the True Lord of humankind. You must understand this. Do you understand? The tradition of your family should start from heaven. Since you are parents on the behalf of God you should teach the principle of love. You should be a teacher who teaches how to establish a family of love and a national ideal; you should be able to raise those who can qualify to be true owners. Until now, what schools have done has been technical education. The education of the original nature should take place in the family.
That is how you can inherit the original blood lineage. You have the solemn duty to bequeath the lineage of your parents for a thousand or ten thousand years to come. This is not fate, this is your destined responsibility. You cannot change your parents. You cannot change your brothers and sisters. Can you change your wife in the Garden of Eden? No. Knowing this principle, you should set up the tradition of the family before heaven and produce the fruits of true parents and the fruits of true teachers. Then you should bequeath the position of true owners—the owner of a true lineage—for a thousand and ten thousand years.
