1. Two-day Workshop
A 2-day Special Workshop with the theme “Life as Embodiment of Divine Principle and Becoming future leaders”, was held in National HQ of Family Federation for World Peace and Unification-Cambodia from 22-23 November 2022. It was really the core teaching of the True Parents on Divine Principle and True Parents Life’s courses along Rev. Simon Pang Life Testimony. The main lecturer was Rev. Simon Pang, National President, Hong Kong and Asia Pacific Region One Education Director.
Before the opening of the 2-day workshop, Rev. Simon Pang had dinner meeting with our blessed families in Phnom Penh. They could share the deep heart to each other and to connect to the love and heart of True Parents. They could feel the love and care from True Mother. Let’s meet and eat with blessed families and members, and brothers and sisters.
Mrs. Masumi Schmittat, Director of Blessed Family Department, FFWPU-Cambodia gave the opening remarks, delivering a warm welcome message to everyone.
Participants were from every corner of our nation, Battambang district, Siem Reap district, Kampot district and Phnom Penh Capital gathered in the National HQ with joy, happiness, and spirit and truth to welcome Rev. Simon Pang from Hong Kong to share his heart-felt from Heavenly Parent and True Parents. Bring the Principle into practice with our daily life, True Parents’ Life Courses and Rev. Simon Pang’s life course himself to connect with Divine Principle to make it alive.
On the 1st day of the workshop, President Demian Dunkley, Regional President, aside from his participation in AIPA 43rd General Assembly in IAPP delegation, he invested himself in one session to share more practical life of future of blessed family, what they should do in the future in their blessing and family life. We could feel the heart of True Parents to bring all the children to come back to the bosom of Heavenly Parent’s heart.
After the session finished Rev. Simon went to Siem Reap along with around 10 members to listen to their reflation and determination till arrival in the center, Siem Reap province. Over there he could feel the great history of Cambodia through Angkor Wat Temple. It should be connected to the restoration of Heavenly Parent’s heart.
Reflections
- I would like to express my sincere and deepest thanks for your present here in Cambodia. It means a lot and it is a rival workshop to my thinking because the talking about DP is equivalent to giving spiritual life. After reading the reflection of participants, I felt we need to do more to let them understand the heart and will of HP and TPs.
- Through the 2-Day Workshop, I felt I need to do more to help young people first recognize that they need to restore themselves and put God first place in order to achieve True Love and Happiness. I think it is very important to learn from seniors, and the historic central figures to recognize the power of God because without experiencing, knowing and understanding the value of vertical faith, it may cause trouble later on in their horizontal relationship. Thus, to let young people experience and obtain vertical relationship with HP is very crucial.
- I determine to contribute more for God’s will to be realized in Cambodia by raising up future true leaders among our youth. In addition, I hope they will grow in love and care of God and TPs, and finally build blessed happy family.
- My suggestion to make the education more powerful, we should include few more testimony even as video from our seniors. And if we could have longer period 7-Day or 21-Day, it will be much more heartistic and alive. And after the 7-Day or 21-Day, we can have participant do testimony about their personal experiences. Of course, to divide into small team and have discussion is a plus to make workshop more effective. These are my suggestion. Thank you.
- Our participants who has attended the 2-Day Workshop on the theme, “Life as embodiment of DP”. Through the reading we found few points in common. Some of them were interested in the strategies Rev. Simon has set up in Beijing, some were fascinated about characteristics of true love, and some admired your pioneering experiences. And some people have made up their determination to move forward. 2. Seven-day Workshop
Our “7-day Divine Principle Workshop” was held in FFWPU Cambodia National HQ from 7-13 November 2022. This workshop included the core teaching of our True Parents on Divine Principle and True Parents Life’s courses along with the practical experiencing with full two-day leadership training to the field (frontline activities).
Mr. Chamroeun Sophal, President of FFWPU Cambodia gave the opening remarks with his warm welcoming message to all participants in this meaningful and significant workshop to strengthen the core membership and leadership as President Demian Dunkley now focus on 80% to the Core and 20% to the Mass.
After the welcome and opening ceremony, the expert lecturers delivered the Divine Principle, Blessing lectures, True Parents’ life courses and front line lectures with the well-prepared and the Spirit and Truth to our participants. With whole hearted devotion and the Hyojeong from Heavenly Parent and True Parents, all participants could felt closer and closer to Heavenly Parent and True Parents. We could feel they were in oneness with the heart and the Will of Heavenly Parent and True Parents.
At the closing ceremony, Mr. Chamroeun Sophal, President of FFWPU Cambodia congratulated all participants and shared the heart and love from True Mother’s through President Demian Dunkley. Mother always cares of all the children, wants to see the children to be happy and delighted. All participants could feel the spirit and truth, and they were so happy, their spirits were bright and the Parent-child relation with Heavenly Parent and True Parents were stronger.
