On 12-13 November 2022, a Central Region Core Members’ Workshop was held by FFWPU Malaysia, involving 60 participants in a two-day retreat at a beach resort in Port Dickson. The participants consist mainly of CARP and second generation youth and student members as well as blessed families who were core members of their home groups.

The main objectives of the workshop were to raise up core members, new working staff and fulltime members with the right attitude towards the future youth providence as well as to strengthen the relationship with God and finding the motivation for life of faith.

The workshop included a series of lectures by National Leader of Malaysia, Bro Peng Keong, BFD Director of Malaysia, Sis Wan Yu and HTM Director of Malaysia, Sis Hooi Khim which covered topics like self-coaching, internal guidance and vision for youth leadership in providence. There were also group challenge activities by the beach to create deeper bonding and unity between members.

This was a breakthrough for Malaysia as it is the first core members’ workshop to involve CARP, second generation and home group core members together. The sharing of experience of the blessed families became a living testimony and model for the younger generation whereas the passion and energy of the youth also brought vigor and hope to the elders. This has created a synergy effect among our members and is in line with True Mother’s vision for a Heavenly Parent’s Holy Community.

The youth participants were very inspired to understand the bigger picture of the peace movement and are determined to take up more responsibilities as victorious heavenly soldiers for God’s providence.
