Dearly respected and beloved, blessed families of the worldwide Unificationist community,

I sincerely pray that the great blessings and love of our Heavenly Parent and True Parents will accompany you and your families throughout this week.

1. Summary of Last Week’s Weekly Message

Last week, we spoke about bringing the 13^th year of Cheon Il Guk to a good conclusion, and reflected together on its providential significance under the theme, “Going Beyond the Word into Life.” The 13^th year of Cheon Il Guk opened a new path of hope before us. Using the New Year motto given by True Mother as our lamp, each of us has been walking a meaningful course, practicing our faith in our daily circumstances.

In particular, through offering the Cheon Won Gung Cheonil Sanctum Entrance Ceremony, we were able to affirm that the era of the completion of Heaven’s providence had truly begun. From that historic day onward, we have understood the Kingdom of Heaven is no longer just a world we enter after we die, but a realm in which we live in here on earth. Our faith itself is also undergoing a transformation—shifting from mere “attendance” to a daily life of “attending and living with” our Heavenly Parent.

Today, the standard of our faith asks us this question: What kind of life are we living, centered on the Word? Based on this standard, we will welcome the long-awaited 14^th year of Cheon Il Guk.

2. The Meaning of Seollal and its Traditional Games

Beloved family members,

February 17 marks the 1st day of the 1st month by the Heavenly Calendar, and it is also Seollal, Korea’s traditional New Year holiday. From early on, our Unification community has observed Seollal by offering bows of reverence to our Heavenly Parent and, in the presence of True Parents, bolstered our unity and harmony through the joyful tradition of the game of Yutnori [윷놀이].

However, as we are unable to attend True Parents directly at Cheon Jeong Gung this Seollal, the tradition of Yutnori comes to mind all the more vividly. This is because, at this time, our members’ unity of heart is more urgently needed than ever to overcome both internal and external trials. The spirit of Yutnori, as taught by True Parents, reminds us that even when the odds seem overwhelmingly against us, absolute unity within the team can bring about a dramatic, last-minute reversal and ultimate triumph. Once again, we engrave deeply in our hearts this training in bringing victory amid trials.

3. The Proclamation of the Heavenly Calendar and the True Meaning of Seollal

Beloved family members,

It was on such a Lunar New Year’s Day—a day that ushers in the year with hope—that True Parents blessed us with the Heavenly Calendar. On February 14, 2010, True Parents proclaimed the Heavenly Calendar before all of heaven and earth, declaring that the existing solar and lunar calendars would now stand in the positions of Cain and Abel respectively, serving to support the Heavenly Calendar that creates a new record of the providence. They further emphasized that now is the time to engrave True Parents’ teachings onto our very bones and practice them. (Cheon Seong Gyeong, 1444 [English edition]).

It feels truly new and remarkable to welcome the first New Year of the Heavenly Calendar following the Cheon Won Gung Entrance Ceremony in 2025—when we are attending Heavenly Parent substantially. Living in this era of direct attendance to Heavenly Parent, unfolding our lives according to the Heavenly Calendar—Heaven’s providential timetable—rather than the calendars of the world, carries a deep and special significance.

The purpose behind True Parents’ proclamation of the Heavenly Calendar on Lunar New Year Day, Seollal, is very clear. It is Heaven’s sacred call for us to establish a new standard and order for the way we live. Embedded within this proclamation is the profound message that we are to attend Heavenly Parent in substantial reality, start off firmly in the right direction, and put Heaven’s traditions and values into practice.

The meaning of the Heavenly Calendar is deeply connected with the tradition of Seollal, which the Korean people have preserved through many generations. It is a day to set the beginning of the year properly before Heaven, to honor our ancestors, to attend our elders, and to unite our families in love. It is truly a precious day through which the tradition of attending Heavenly Parent in substantial ways becomes fully engraved within our hearts.

4. Offering Special Devotions over 13 Days

Beloved family members,

I invite you to take part in the “Special Devotions Commemorating the Holy Births of the True Parents of Heaven, Earth, and Humankind and the 13^th Anniversary of Cheon Il Guk Foundation Day.” These 13 days begin on Seollal, the 1st day of the 1st month by the Heavenly Calendar in 14^th year of Cheon Il Guk. During this sacred period, I ask that you devote some time to studying the Epic History of the Chosen Han People of Korea, based on its thirteen themes (chapters). Please also offer your sincere prayers and devotion for the well-being of True Parents and the True Family, the harmony and happiness of your own families, and the health and peace of your neighbors. In addition, I encourage you to make a point of performing one act of true love each day to mark True Parents’ Holy Births and the 13^th Anniversary of Cheon Il Guk Foundation Day, and to renew your resolve to make a fresh start. I hope these will be a meaningful 13 days during which you have a rewarding experience of practicing life in the Kingdom of Heaven on earth.

Detailed information regarding this special devotional period has already been made available to each local community through an official international memo. Please consult your church for further guidance! With a sincere heart, I pray that you will bring the 13^th year of Cheon Il Guk to a beautiful conclusion and prepare to welcome the 14^th year with renewed determination and hope.

존경하고 사랑하는 전 세계 통일가 축복가정 식구 여러분, 이번 한 주도 하늘부모님과 참부모님의 크신 축복과 사랑이 식구님 여러분과 가정 위에 가득 임하시기를 마음 모아 기원드립니다.

1. 지난주 주간 메시지 요약

지난 주 우리는 천일국 13년을 마무리하며, ‘말씀을 넘어 삶으로’라는 주제로 섭리적 의미를 함께 되새겼습니다. 천일국 13년은 우리에게 새로운 희망의 길을 열어준 해였습니다. 참어머님께서 주신 연두표어를 등불 삼아 각자의 자리에서 생활신앙을 실천하며 의미 있는 노정을 걸어 왔습니다.

특히, ‘천원궁 천일성전 입궁식’을 봉헌하심으로써, 하늘 섭리의 완성 시대를 본격적으로 열렸음을 확인할 수 있었습니다. 이 날을 기점으로 천국은 죽어서 가는 세계가 아니라, 지금 이 땅에서 살아내야 할 삶의 영역이 되었습니다. 신앙 또한 ‘모시는’ 차원에서 ‘모시고 사는’ 생활신앙으로 전환되고 있습니다.

이제 신앙의 기준은 말씀을 중심으로 어떤 삶을 살아가고 있는가를 묻고 있습니다. 이 기준 위에 우리는 대망의 천일국 14년을 맞이하게 되었습니다.

2. 설날의 의미와 놀이

사랑하는 식구님 여러분, 오는 2월 17일은 천력 1월 1일이자, 한국 고유의 명절인 설날입니다. 우리 통일가는 예로부터 설날을 맞아 하늘부모님께 경배를 올리고, 참부모님을 모신 가운데 성대한 ‘윷놀이’를 통해 화합을 다져왔습니다.

그러나, 참부모님을 천정궁에 직접 모시지 못하는 이번 설날에 유독 윷놀이가 더욱 생각나는 것은, 안팎의 시련을 극복하기 위해 식구들의 합심이 그 어느 때보다 절실한 시기이기 때문일 것입니다. 참부모님께서 일러주신 윷놀이 정신은, 패색이 짙은 상황일지라도 팀이 절대적으로 하나 되어 나아갈 때 막판 뒤집기의 승리를 거머쥘 수 있다는 ‘역전과 승리의 훈련’임을 다시금 가슴에 새기게 됩니다.

3. 천력 선포와 설날의 참된 의미

사랑하는 식구님 이렇게 새해를 희망으로 여는 음력 1월 1일을 참부모님께서는 천력으로 축복해 주셨습니다. 2010년 2월 14일, 참부모님께서는 ‘천력’을 만천하에 선포하시며 ‘기존의 양력과 음력은 이제 가인과 아벨의 입장에 서서, 새로이 섭리를 기록하는 천력을 보조하는 역할’을 하게 될 것이라 말씀하셨습니다. 그리고 이제는 ‘참부모님의 가르침을 뼈에 새기고 실천하는 삶을 살아야 할 때’임을 분명히 하셨습니다.(천성경 1449)

2025년 천원궁 입궁식과 더불어 하늘부모님을 실체로 모신 가운데 처음 맞이하는 천력 새해는 우리에겐 참으로 새롭습니다. 하늘부모님을 실체로 모신 시대이기에, 세상 사람들이 사용하는 달력이 아닌 하늘의 시간표인 ‘천력’을 우리 삶의 기준으로 삼고 산다는 것은 그 무엇보다 깊고 특별한 의미가 있습니다.

참부모님께서 음력 1월 1일, 설날을 기하여 천력을 선포하신 뜻은 아주 분명합니다. 그것은 우리가 살아가는 삶의 기준과 질서를 새롭게 세우라는 하늘의 거룩한 요청입니다. 하늘부모님을 실체로 모시고 첫 시작을 바로 세워 하늘의 전통과 가치를 실천하라는 깊은 뜻이 담겨 있습니다.

이러한 천력의 의미는 한민족이 오랜 세월 지켜온 설날의 전통과 깊이 연결되어 있습니다. 한 해의 시작을 하늘 앞에 바로 세우고, 조상을 기리고 어른을 모신 가운데 가족이 사랑으로 하나 되는 날이기 때문입니다. 하늘부모님을 실체로 모시는 전통이 우리 삶 속에 온전히 새겨지는 귀한 날이라 할 수 있습니다.

4. 13일 특별정성 실천

사랑하는 식구님 여러분께서는 천일국 14년 천력 1월 1일 설날부터 진행되는 ‘천지인참부모님 성탄 및 천일국 기원절 13주년 특별정성’에 함께 참여하시어, 주어진 13개 주제 말씀, 곧 한민족 선민 대서사시에 관한 내용을 깊이 훈독하고, 참부모님과 참가정의 안위, 가정의 화목과 행복, 그리고 이웃의 건강과 평화를 위해 정성을 다하는 시간을 가져 주시기 바랍니다. 아울러, 매일 한 가지 이상의 참사랑을 생활 속에서 실천하고, 성탄절과 천일국 기원절 13주년을 경축하고 새로운 출발을 다짐하며, 지상천국 생활을 삶 속에서 실천하는 의미 있는 13일을 보내시기 바랍니다.

尊敬し、愛する全世界の統一家、祝福家庭、食口の皆様

韓国の伝統的な名節「ソルラル（旧正月)」と天一国１４年を迎える今週一週間も、天の父母様と真の父母様の大いなる祝福と愛が、食口の皆様、そしてご家庭の上に満ちあふれますよう 心を合わせてお祈りいたします。

1. 先週の週間メッセージ要約

先週、私たちは天一国13年を締めくくりながら「み言を越え、生活（生き方）へ」というテーマをもって、摂理的な意味について共に振り返りました。天一国13年は、私たちに新たな希望の道を開いてくれた一年でした。

真のお母様が下さった年頭標語を灯火（ともしび）として、それぞれ各自の持ち場において、生活信仰を実践し、意義深い路程を歩んでまいりました。特に、「天苑宮・天一聖殿入宮式」を奉献されたことにより、天の摂理完成時代が本格的に開かれたことを確認することができました。

この日を起点として、天国は死んでから行く世界ではなく今この地上で生き抜いていく生活の領域となりました。信仰もまた、「侍る次元（じげん）」から「侍って生きる生活信仰」へと転換しています。

今や信仰の基準はみ言を中心に、どのような人生を生きているのかが問われています。この基準の上に、私たちは待望の天一国14年を迎えることとなりました。

2. 旧正月（ソルラル）の意味と伝統遊び

愛する食口の皆様、来る2月17日は、天暦1月1日であり、韓国固有の伝統的祝日（名節）である旧正月（ソルラル）です。

私たち統一家は古くから、旧正月を迎えるにあたり天の父母様に敬拝を捧げ、真の父母様に侍る中で、盛大な「ユンノリ（投げ木遊び）」を通して和合を深めてまいりました。しかし、真の父母様を天正宮に直接お迎えすることができない今回の旧正月は、なおさらユンノリが思い起こされます。

それは、内外の試練を乗り越えるために、食口たちの心を一つにすることが、これまで以上に切実に求められている時期だからでしょう。真の父母様が教えてくださったユンノリの精神は、たとえ不利な状況であっても、チームが絶対的に一つとなって前進する時、最後に逆転勝利をつかむことができるという 逆転と勝利の訓練」であることを、改めて胸に刻んでおります。

3. 天暦宣布と旧正月の真なる意味 

愛する食口の皆様、このように希望ある新年を開く陰暦1月1日を、真の父母様は「天暦」として祝福してくださいました。

2010年2月14日、真の父母様は「天暦」を全天下に宣布され、“既存の陽暦と陰暦は、今カインとアベルの立場に立ち、新たに摂理を記録して明示する天暦を補助する役割”をするようになるでしょう」と語られました。

そして今こそ、「真の父母様の教えを骨に刻み 実践する人生を生きる時」であることを明確に示されました。(天聖経 1449）2025年天苑宮入宮式とともに、天の父母様を実体で侍っていく中で 初めて迎える天暦の新年は、私たちにとって誠に新しいものです。

天の父母様を実体で侍る時代だからこそ、世の人々が用いる暦（こよみ）ではな 天の時間表である「天暦」を私たちの人生（生活/生き方）の基準として生きることは、何よりも深く特別な意味を持ちます。

真の父母様が陰暦1月1日、すなわち旧正月を期に天暦を宣布されたその意図は極めて明確です。それは、私たちが生きていく人生（生活/生き方）の基準と秩序を新たに打ち立てよ、という天からの聖なる要請です。

天の父母様を実体として侍って、出発を正しく立て、天の伝統と価値を実践せよ、という深い意図が込められています。このような天暦の意味は、韓民族が長い歳月守ってきた旧正月の伝統とも深く結びついています。

一年の始まりを天の前に正しく立て、祖先を敬い、年長者に侍る中で、家族が愛によって一つとなる日だからです。天の父母様を実体として侍る伝統が、私たちの生活の中に完全に刻まれる尊い日であると言えるでしょう。

4. 13日間特別精誠の実践

愛する食口の皆様には、天一国14年 天暦1月1日の旧正月から行われる「天地人真の父母様ご聖誕および天一国基元節13周年 特別精誠」に共に参加していただき、与えられた13のテーマのみ言、すなわち、韓民族選民大叙事詩に関する内容を深く訓読して、真の父母様と真の家庭のご安泰、家庭の和睦と幸福、さらには隣人の健康と平和のために精誠を尽くす時間をお持ちいただければと願います。

また、毎日一つ以上の真の愛を生活の中で実践し ご聖誕節と天一国基元節13周年を慶祝し、新たな出発を決意しながら 地上天国生活を（実際の）生活の中で、実践する意義深い13日間をお過ごしください。
