[New Year Message] The Chosen People United with the True Parents, True Sons and Daughters of Cheon Il Guk Who Fulfill Their Responsibility!

Beloved Blessed Families and Members around the world!

The New Year of 2026, the Year of the Fire Red Horse (丙午年), is here. As we welcome the New Year, I sincerely pray that the grace and blessings of our Heavenly Parent will be abundant upon you, your families, and the foundations of your lives. The year 2026 is the Year of the Red Horse. With the fiery energy of fire (火) combined with the dynamic vitality of the horse, we anticipate a year filled with overflowing energy and momentum.

At the beginning of 2025, the True Parents proclaimed the New Year’s motto that will be handed down from Cheon Il Guk Year 13 for generations to come:

In the 13th year of Cheon Il Guk, when we attend the Creator Heavenly Parent substantially, let us, the blessed families around the world, become true sons and daughters of Cheon Il Guk who fulfill our responsibility as the chosen people in unity with True Parents!

Through this motto for the year, True Parents clearly revealed the three core elements of the providence that will continue from the 13th year of Cheon Il Guk onward for generations.

First, they proclaimed that the providential age is one in which we attend and live together with the Creator, our Heavenly Parent, in substantial ways.

Second, they defined our identity as the chosen people united with the True Parents.

Third, they clarified our mission as becoming the true sons and daughters of Cheon Il Guk who fulfill the responsibility of the chosen people.

This motto is not a message limited to the year 2025 alone; it remains a living request from Heaven for the New Year of 2026, the Year of the Red (Fire) Horse. At this time, I hope we can once again deeply engrave in our hearts the love and earnest urgency of the True Parents contained within it, and I would like to share reflections on these three points.

The first is “the Providential Age.” Last year, through the Cheon Won Gung Cheonil Sanctum Entrance Ceremony, Heavenly Parent, as the owner of the universe, reclaimed the position to fully embrace and love all the sons and daughters. Accordingly, the original order based on the Principle of Creation was established, and, in the name of Holy Mother Han, the gates of the Kingdom of Heaven of Cheon Il Guk were opened wide.

Thus, we have now entered an era in which blessed families must realize life in the earthly Kingdom of Heaven by attending Heavenly Parent substantially and living together with Heavenly Parent at the individual, family, and tribal levels. On October 28, speaking from the detention center, True Mother once again clearly emphasized that “The responsibility of the chosen people is to attend Heavenly Parent.”

The second concerns “Our Identity”. All blessed families are the chosen people united with the True Parents. All the blessed families are a chosen people selected and established by Heaven for the completion of the providence, and they are providential partners who have been creating a new history together since Cheon Il Guk Foundation Day.

Regarding the identity of blessed families as the chosen people, True Mother spoke as follows: “Although the internal and external conditions for the settlement of Cheon Il Guk have now been prepared, the people have not yet reached the level Heaven desires. Then why has witnessing been blocked? The reason is that we have not become model true families and of true love. We must show the world true families that live together with God. Where there is true love, people sense its fragrance and naturally come. If I really become a true person and am transformed by true love, I can exert a great and positive influence on families, tribes, nations, and countries.” (True Mother, March 7, 2023, Hawaii)

In addition, on November 4, even from the detention center, Mother earnestly emphasized once again, saying, “Only the True Family Movement will bring world peace.”

Finally, the third point is our mission. True Parents are continually encouraging the blessed families to become the true children of Cheon Il Guk who fulfill the responsibility of the chosen people. The mission of the chosen blessed families is, in essence, to live as the true sons and daughters of Cheon Il Guk and to stand as the children of the direct lineage of the True Parents of Heaven, Earth, and Humankind.

True sons and daughters are those who attend the Heavenly Parent, the True Parents of Heaven, Earth, and Humankind, become one with them, and live together with them in every aspect of life. To do so, we must share the same Will, the same thoughts, and the same heart and purpose.

The era following the Cheon Won Gung Cheonil Sanctum Entrance Ceremony is one in which blessed families must fully and substantially assume their responsibility. That responsibility can be summarized in two areas: education and the Blessing. At this time, Holy Mother Han, True Mother, remains in the detention center, holding Heavenly Parent deeply within her heart.

True Mother said the following: “The truth will surely be revealed. Heaven will now work. Though it may take time, the truth will inevitably come to light. And so, what can I do… I must simply endure and wait.”

On the day when the truth of the providence is revealed to the world, True Mother will be set free. Until that day arrives, she offers devotion in quiet steadfastness. Yet truth does not unveil itself on its own. It must be declared by those who know it, and only when there are those who testify and convey it can the world come to understand.

Therefore, we are the ones entrusted with the responsibility to convey the truth about Holy Mother Han to the world. Educating the people in the Chambumo Ron and the Great Epic of the Chosen Han People of Korea is a solemn charge Heaven has placed upon us. The True Love movement and True Family movement must begin with each of us and be fulfilled through our own lives. In doing so, we will firmly establish our identity, testify through our lives to the essence of Blessed families, and convey it to the world. This is the blessing and grace Heaven has bestowed upon us.

True Mother has earnestly urged us to work together to create an era in which truth is surely revealed and recorded in history.

Although True Mother is not physically present with us at this time, we must move forward through the coming year with one united heart—praying for the well-being and victorious return of Holy Mother Han, True Mother, together with Missionaries Moon Shin-chul and Moon Shin-heung, whom she has established as the Cheon Il Guk Inheritors of Heaven’s Love and Blessing.

The image of True Mother walking the path of tribulation alone in detention is, in essence, the image of Heavenly Mother and of Heavenly Parent. When small drops of water fall steadily upon a single spot, they can pierce even solid rock. When those drops gather, they form rivers that flow into the vast ocean. In the same way, when the small devotions and love of the chosen blessed families combine as one, the well-being of Holy Mother Han, True Mother and the time of her victorious return will surely be hastened.

Moreover, the peaceful ideal world of one family of humankind attending Heavenly Parent will most certainly be realized.

In the New Year of 2026, may the grace and blessings of Heavenly Parent overflow upon your families and your homes.
