Event Overview

On December 29, 2025, the CheonBo Family Cultural Center (Khao Wong District, Kalasin Province) hosted a vibrant reunion for core Blessed Families. The event served a dual purpose: summarizing the providential work of 2025 and celebrating the transition into the New Year, 2026.

The gathering drew over 100 participants, including VIPs, heads of government agencies, community leaders, and Blessed Family members. Notably, the event welcomed youth from various local tribes and international students from Africa currently pursuing degrees in a modern agricultural development project—a joint initiative between the local government and Kalasin University.

Key Highlights and Significance

  • Global Family Bonds: A significant highlight was the formal welcoming of the African students by Khao Wong tribal leaders as “foster children.” This beautiful exchange fostered cross-cultural and cross-ethnic relationships, embodying the True Parents’ vision of one global family.
  • Cultural Unity: Participants showcased tribal unity through cultural performances, a singing contest, and a communal gift exchange.
  • Fundraising & Ownership: In a display of local ownership, members contributed to fundraising efforts through various booths. These funds will support the CheonBo Family Church and its 2026 goal of expanding youth training and tribal outreach.
  • Testimonies of Protection: Many members shared deeply moving stories of spiritual protection. Several participants recounted surviving car accidents and credited their safety to the True Parents, whose photographs they carry as a constant reminder of their connection to the source of life.

The event concluded with a collective vow to remain resilient in 2026, ensuring the blessings of Heavenly Parent and True Parents reach more people across Thailand’s tribal communities.

Participant Testimony

Mr. Pongphatsakorn Haruthaipakdee Former Head of Sarapangthong Subdistrict, Khao Wong District

“My wife and I received the Blessing in Khao Wong, and we later had the profound honor of meeting True Mother at the Cheon Jeong Gung in South Korea. This remains the highest honor of our lives. During my time as a Subdistrict Head, my schedule was incredibly demanding, and I often felt I couldn’t dedicate enough time to the Blessed Family community.

I resolved that upon my retirement, I would become a full-time volunteer. On August 10, 2025—the very day my term ended—I contacted the local leadership to express my readiness to serve. Now, I am studying True Parents’ teachings more deeply and attending weekly meetings to develop my skills as a speaker and Master of Ceremonies.

Being the MC for this annual meeting alongside the CheonBo Family Center team has brought me immense joy. Seeing parents and children from so many different tribes coming together shows tangible results of our work. I am so grateful to True Parents for this opportunity and for a start to 2026 that is filled with hope.”
