Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Today marks the 15th day of True Mother’s detention. During this time, members from across the nation and around the world have continued offering their devotion with tears. We express our heartfelt gratitude to all who are offering prayers and devotion in front of the detention center, in their churches, or in their homes.
Prayers Resonating through Seoul Detention Center
In front of the Seoul detention center, members’ prayerful devotion continues daily from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm, and from 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Whether it is raining or windy, brothers and sisters continue to come. Some members remain there from morning until late evening, offering devotions for Mother through their hymns and prayers.
We have heard that members’ voices can be heard even inside the detention center. When President Song Yong-cheon reported to True Mother that members were praying outside, Mother responded, “I can hear the sound of their prayers. Their devotions give me strength.” We believe our tearful devotions reach Heaven and that God will surely work.
Continuing without Pause
The Korean Headquarters is maintaining and strengthening the Family Federation’s emergency response system, which President Song Yong-cheon declared upon taking office. Through former church presidents, the senior pastors’ council and young pastors’ gatherings various channels for sharing opinions and communicating have been established, and efforts are being made so that members can steadfastly continue their life of faith.
On October 4, President Song Yong-cheon visited True Mother at the Seoul detention center. True Mother was still maintaining her composure. She said, “Please make known the Family Federation’s many achievements for the world and for Korea.” Mother urged the members, who have been concerned about True Mother’s well-being to the point of tears, to “continue on without pause.”
Explaining True Parents to Our Relatives
True Parents, who have lived like marathon runners to fulfill Heavenly Parent’s dream, tell us that our progress must never stop for a moment. We must deeply understand True Parents’ heart as they encourage all members to practice true love for a world of peace where all people can live as one family attending Heavenly Parent.
In light of this, now is the time when all blessed families must be faithful to their original mission. The essence of the Family Federation has always been to revere, teach, and convey the life and teachings of True Parents. Especially during the Korean holiday of Chuseok (Korean harvest festival), blessed families can lovingly embrace the relatives they meet and inform them about True Parents’ activities. We should properly introduce the variety of work for peace, in education, for welfare, for the environment, and in support of families that True Parents and the Family Federation have contributed to Korea and the world over the past decades. And we should work to eradicate the various baseless rumors surrounding True Mother.
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Even now, True Mother worries about the church and embraces the heart of each and every member. Mother’s asking members to remain faithful to their original mission is not merely a request, but a clear instruction about how we should spend this time. Now we must dry our tears and raise our voices for True Parents in our homes, churches, and communities. When we combine our voices to let people know the truth, True Mother will rise up strong and return to us.
We believe that Heavenly Parent and True Parents are with us and earnestly pray that God’s blessing and grace will be with all members’ families during this Chuseok holiday.

식구님들께 드리는 서신
사랑하는 식구님,
참어머님께서 구속되신 이후 15일째를 맞이하고 있습니다. 그동안 전국과 세계 각지에서 식구님들이 눈물로 정성을 이어오고 계십니다. 구치소 앞에서, 교회와 가정에서 기도와 정성을 올리고 계신 모든 분들께 진심으로 감사의 말씀을 전합니다.
서울구치소를 울리는 식구들의 기도소리
서울구치소 앞에서는 매일 오후 2시부터 5시, 밤 8시부터 10시까지 식구님들의 기도 정성이 이어지고 있습니다. 때로는 비가 내리고, 때로는 바람이 불어도 식구님들의 발걸음은 멈추지 않습니다. 어떤 식구님들은 아침부터 저녁 늦게까지 자리를 지키며 찬송과 기도로 어머님을 위해 정성을 드리고 있습니다.
식구님들의 목소리가 구치소 내부까지 들린다고 합니다. 송용천 협회장님이 참어머님께 “밖에서 식구들이 기도하고 있습니다”라고 보고를 드리자 참어머님께서 “기도소리가 여기까지 들린다. 그 정성이 힘이 된다”고 하셨다고 합니다. 우리의 눈물 어린 정성이 하늘에 닿아 반드시 역사하여 주실 것을 믿습니다.
중단 없는 전진
한국 협회본부는 송용천 협회장님께서 취임 이후 선언한 전 협회 비상대응체제를 유지하고 강화해 나가고 있습니다. 전직 협회장님들과 원로 목회자회부터 청년 목회자 모임까지 다양한 의견을 개진하고 소통할 수 있도록 하였으며 식구님들이 흔들림 없이 신앙생활을 할 수 있도록 노력하고 있습니다.
지난 10월 4일, 송용천 협회장님은 서울구치소에서 참어머님을 면회하였습니다. 참어머님께서는 여전히 평정심을 잃지 않으시고, “가정연합이 그동안 세계와 한국을 위해 해왔던 업적을 많이 알려라”라고 말씀하셨습니다. 참어머님의 안위를 걱정하며 눈물 흘릴 식구들을 위해 ‘중단 없는 전진’을 당부해주신 것입니다.
친지들에게 참부모님을 알리자
하늘부모님의 꿈을 이루기 위해 마라토너와 같은 삶을 살아오신 참부모님은 어떠한 순간에도 우리의 전진이 멈춰서는 안된다고 말씀하고 계십니다. 인류가 하늘부모님을 모시고 한 가족으로 살 수 있는 평화세계를 위해 모든 식구들이 참사랑을 실천해 줄 것을 격려하시는 참부모님의 심정을 살펴야 하겠습니다.
그런 면에서 지금은 모든 축복가정이 본연의 사명에 충실해야 할 때입니다. 가정연합의 본질은 언제나 참부모님의 삶과 가르침을 예배하고, 교육하고, 전하는 일에 있습니다. 특히 한민족의 명절 한가위에 축복가정들은 만나는 친지들을 사랑하고 이들에게 참부모님이 활동해오신 일을 알려야 하겠습니다. 참부모님과 가정연합이 지난 수십 년간 한국과 세계를 위해 기여해온 평화, 교육, 복지, 환경, 가정 등의 다양한 활동들을 올바르게 알려 참어머님을 둘러싼 여러 근거 없는 소문을 근절하도록 노력해야 되겠습니다.
사랑하는 식구님,
참어머님께서는 지금도 교회를 걱정하시며, 식구 한 사람 한 사람의 마음을 품고 계십니다. 식구들이 본연의 사명에 충실하기를 바라시는 어머님의 말씀은 단순한 당부가 아니라, 우리가 이 시기를 어떻게 보내야 하는지에 대한 명확한 방향이기도 합니다. 이제 우리는 눈물을 닦고 각자의 가정과 교회, 지역에서 참부모님을 위한 목소리를 내야 합니다. 진실을 알리는 우리의 목소리가 모일 때, 참어머님께서 강건히 일어나셔서 돌아오시게 될 것입니다.
하늘부모님과 참부모님께서 우리와 함께하심을 믿으며, 한가위에 모든 식구님들의 가정 위에 천복과 은혜가 함께하시기를 간절히 기도드립니다.
