On August 9, the Brazil–São Tomé Polytechnic Training Centre hosted a dynamic conference organized by YSP São Tomé under the theme “Leadership with an Owner’s Heart.”

The event aimed to support Holy Mother Han in the firm establishment of Cheon Il Guk, while also responding to the guidance shared by the Inheritors of Heaven’s Love and Blessing during their recent visit to São Tomé. The public responded enthusiastically, showing strong interest in deepening their understanding through educational initiatives and programs.

🗣️ Keynote Speakers & Highlights

  • Shin Álex, Deputy Continental Director of the Shin-Africa Interpretation Team, opened the conference with a powerful message on “Leadership with the Dimension of the Heart and the Attitude of Ownership.”
    He emphasized that true leadership is rooted in strong values and personal responsibility. Expanding character education into life skills, he highlighted the importance of leading by example—practicing honesty, sincerity, true love, courage, and self-control.
  • Melissa Pina, Director of Education at YSP São Tomé, addressed the topic of patriotism, noting the trend of young people leaving for Portugal due to limited job opportunities.
    She explained that patriotism is a higher expression of filial piety, beginning in the family and extending through the four realms of love. Melissa encouraged youth to receive the Blessing and uphold good manners, stressing that stable families are the foundation of a stable nation.
  • Áurea Suzete, Vice-Coordinator of YSP São Tomé, spoke passionately about environmental responsibility.
    She urged young people to be creative in producing, distributing, and consuming locally, tapping into the full potential of São Tomé’s resources.

The conference concluded with an engaging Q&A session, where participants shared personal experiences and expressed their thoughts. Many young attendees described the event as a wake-up call, inspiring them to act with greater purpose and responsibility. Others noted that the experience had broadened their perspectives and transformed how they view various aspects of life.
