Under the guidance of the Witnessing and Education Department, the national administration convened a 4-day Empowerment Seminar for pastors. The goal was to align all pastors—especially those serving in HTM church areas—with the current teachings on True Parents’ Status and Value, and the providential direction centered on True Mother, Holy Mother Han.
🏛️ Participants & Venue
The seminar took place at the National Headquarters Church in Nairobi from July 30 to August 2, 2025. A total of eight pastors participated:
- From Kisii County: Bishop Richard Mumo
- From Bungoma County: Bishop Beatrice Okumu, Pastor Isaac Mwang’ala
- From Nairobi District: Secretary Brian Musee, Senior Pastor Rev. John Angolio, Bishop John Kalama, Pastor Wivine Kobi Omware
The seminar was made possible through the support of our National Leader, Rev. Emanuel Tanui, and featured lectures from the East Africa Regional Director. The presence and guidance of the regional director were deeply appreciated, and participants felt the blessings of Heavenly Parent and the care of Holy Mother Han throughout the workshop.
🌟 Spiritual Impact
The atmosphere was spiritually charged, especially for pastors from HTM churches who experienced a breakthrough in understanding and connection. Daily devotions at Cheon Shim Won were a highlight, allowing pastors to deepen their relationship with True Parents and embrace the profound significance of the Only Begotten Daughter, True Mother Han.
🗣️ Key Messages & Outcomes
The Director of the Witnessing and Education Department emphasized the importance of continuing such workshops to empower and motivate pastors in their mission. Rev. Emanuel Tanui also addressed the group, offering guidance on providential priorities—particularly the preparation of Blessing candidates within their congregations.
The workshop concluded successfully on August 2, marking a significant step forward in strengthening pastoral leadership and unity with True Mother’s heart and vision.
