On March 16, 2025, the Heavenly Central America Youth Department successfully hosted the inaugural CIG Youth Assembly for 2025, bringing together over 40 participants from Costa Rica, 80 from the Dominican Republic, and more than 100 online attendees from Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, Honduras, El Salvador, and Mexico. The theme for the workshop was “2025 CIG Youth Assembly, an Encounter for Peace”.
The Assembly aimed to raise awareness about the upcoming April events for the Opening Ceremony, stressing the importance of youth becoming “Pure Water” and uniting with Holy Mother Han, our True Mother. Participants discussed key topics such as “Self-Leadership,” “A True and Pure Connection,” and “Abundance Mindset,” emphasizing their roles as future leaders.
Isai Torres, President of IAYSP Nicaragua, shared his reflections following the event: “On the day of the event, I deeply felt the love of Heavenly Parent and True Parents. I also experienced profound sorrow for not contributing more to the providence. Therefore, I committed myself to be better than I was yesterday and to love and serve my neighbors more. I am determined to become a young man capable of establishing peace and a world under God through the three great blessings that Hanulpumonim has given us. Aju!”
