For the true realization of Cheon Il Guk on Earth under the guidance and leadership of the only-begotten daughter of God and True Mother of Peace, a blessing of marriage ceremony took place in the Dominican Republic on April 27, 2024.
We had 80 participants and among them, 7 couples received the blessing of marriage from True Parents. 2 couples came as heavenly spouses like pure water from the era after the opening of the cheon il guk, and 5 couples were previously married, and they decided to renew their marriage vows and enter into the heavenly lineage of the True Parents. During the blessing ceremony, we felt a great spiritual atmosphere so joyfully.
The couples testified that, although they had been married for over 50 years, they felt that this ceremony was their true marriage. All the steps of the blessing ceremony were carried out; the ceremony began with a prayer led by Pastor Cándido Gómez. Then, Carmen Belliard, president of the Blessed Families Department of the Dominican Republic gave the welcoming remarks. Next, Mrs. Yoko Lai, president of the Heavenly Caribbean Families Department, gave encouraged the participants with a warm greeting.
A lecture on the value and significance was given by the Secretary-General of the UPF in the Dominican Republic, Lic. César Augusto Regalado Muñoz. The entire program was guided by the Master of Ceremonies, national leader Bernardo Cruz Peralta. Former ambassador of the Dominican Republic in Costa Rica, Mrs. Alfida Fernández, received the blessing with her husband and gave thanks for uniting their marriage to the lineage of the True Parents.
During this event, Rev. Takahashi Kono and his wife, Teiko Kono, were the officiators representing True Parents. The attending couples were: Pasquale Lai and Yoko Kikuchi, Salvador Castillo and Marlete Rodriguez, and Rodolfo Espinosa and Arisleyda Hiraldo.
