With the aim of “Importance of Lineage and Blessing,” a three-day seminar was held at the Harmony and Peace estate for the second generation, aged 15 to 25 on May 12to14, 2024. And we had 24 participants.

Regarding the value and identity of the second generation, the seminar began with an introduction by the president of the second generation, Hope Gomez Yamaguchi, who motivated all participants to pay attention and find the words of God and the True Parents in all the speakers.

Then, Mr. Cesar Regalado, Secretary-General of the UPF and in charge of education for the Federation of Families, gave a lecture on the “value and significance of the blessing” for the second generation. He spoke about the importance of lineage and the efforts and devotion of the True Parents to bring lineage through the holy and sacred blessing, urging the young people to remain pure and preserve their identity as the second generation.

Mr. Hope Gomez Yamaguchi divided the second-generation youth into two groups, women and men, and reflected on each lecture. Then there were entertainment sections with games alluding to purity and the development of providence centered on the second generation.

Next, Reverend Leonidas Belliard, President of the Sacred Community of Subregion 5 of the Caribbean Celestial, gave a lecture on sexual purity.

Following that, one of the missionaries of Cheon Il Guk, Michiaki Yamane, spoke about his life of faith and his encounter with God and the True Parents through devotion. This testimony captivated the hearts of the seminar participants.

The last lecture was given by the national leader of the Dominican Republic, titled “The Country of Cheon Il Guk,” in which he urged the second-generation youth to always be united with the traditions of the sacred community and to act as owners of the holy community. He motivated them to prepare to be the future leaders of Cheon Il Guk.

The seminar concluded with a closing ceremony and a joint reflection. The young people thanked all the workshop collaborators for their timely contributions.
