We organized a 3-day Divine Principle seminar for the university students and guests of CARP and YSP on November 4 to 6, 2023 at Finca Armonía y Paz, Bonao. We had 37 participants and 11 staff members helped to create a beautiful educational program.
Leandro Alvares as the MC gave the opening remarks which was followed by the welcoming remarks by Regional Director Leonidas Belliard. Then the national leader, Bernardo Cruz gave motivational words to help the youth to open their hearts to receive Heavenly Parent’s words of life. The charismatic leader of YSP Dominican Republic, Carlos Hernandez, explained the rules of our education program.
The first lecture on the principles of creation was given by Mrs. Roxana Carbajal. The youth participants were very enthusiastic about the content, and that is why asked many questions, and comments, and gave their reflections.
Bernardo Cruz gave a lecture about “the mission of the Messiah”, and after that, Carlos Hernandez gave a lecture about the principles of the restoration and the course of Moses and Jesus in the providence of the restoration. The lecture on the historical parallels was given by Bernardo Cruz. Then the lecture on the second coming and the life course of True Parents was given by Mr. Cesar Regalado. He also spoke about the blessing of marriage True Parents are offering to the world, as the true tools to bring about ideal family and ideal world. This topic aroused the curiosity and desire to receive the blessing of marriage in the participants’ mind and heart.
After each lecture, there was a thirty-minute time for group reflection. During this education program, participants also had the chance to be involved in sports activities, devotion conditions in the holy ground, and climbing the mountain as a challenge to overcome their limitations.
At the top of the mountain, participants thanked God for overcoming the challenge and sang holy song. After that one of the leaders, Harley Minaya gave internal guidance about overcoming the obstacles that we face in our daily lives, comparing each challenge and difficulties in our daily life. He said that if we have God and True Parents with us, we can overcome all the difficulties.
We will continue this educational program to help the youth in our country to know about Heavenly Parent and True Parents and learn about the heavenly way of life so that they can be reborn as the filial sons and daughters of Heavenly Parent and True Parents creating beautiful blessed families who can bring peace and prosperity in our nation and the world.
