In the Session Room of the National Congress on Wednesday, September 20, 2023, at 09:00 a.m. Prof. Mg. Gustavo Giuliano Director of Education at UPF Paraguay opened the ILC International Leadership Conference on the occasion of the UN World Peace Day. We Had a memorial for the 11th anniversary of Rev. Sun Myung Moon’s Seonghwa, the Historical Empathy Lecture Series: “National Defense and Border Security Law” and the Appointment of new Ambassadors for Peace.
The Chamber Orchestra of the National Police began with the “Paraguayan National Anthem” and then “Songs in Commemoration.” The opening prayer was performed by Pastor Javier Obregón of the House of Faith and Adoration Church and the words of Welcome were made by Don Evaristo Fernández Sandoval Pte. UPF Paraguay highlighted the transcendental world leadership of True Mother.
Then we shared a video of the 11th Anniversary of the Cosmic Seonghwa of Dr. Rev. Sun Myung Moon Founder of UPF.
The National Deputy and Ambassador for Peace Freddy Franco gave the words Welcome to the ILC to the National Congress, highlighting that from his position in the National Congress, he is there to support all the activities of the UPF, then the Sen. Eduardo Hirohito Nakayama Rojas. with the title “Paraguay, Land of Peace” and highlighted that Peace is the most important value principle that human beings should aspire to and that South America should be the refuge of internal and external Peace for all humanity. Then Dr. Federico Franco – Former President of the Republic of Paraguay and Ambassador for Peace gave a master class on Paraguayan history regarding the patriotic dates that were being remembered at the Historical Empathy conference and highlighted that we can only achieve peace through unity with God our creator through the practice of prayer.
Then Major General (R) Bernardino Antonio González Miranda – Vice Minister of Defense spoke about “The defense of the homeland and the border security law.” The purpose is the preservation of the unity and culture of the nation, therefore, it is everyone’s commitment.
Finally, the President of the UPF South America Dr. Simón Neudir Ferrabolli presented “The UPF Contributions to World Peace”
In addition, recognition was given to the Former First Lady and former Senator and Ambassador for Peace Doña Emilia Alfaro de Franco. from the Women’s Federation for World Peace-
Finally, the plaque was presented to 10 new UPF Ambassadors for Peace. Those who committed to carrying out this high appointment with honor and responsibility.
