The Asia Pacific region recently celebrated the Hyo Jeong Family Festival, marking the culmination of the first 70 days of the Hyo Jeong Action 4040 initiative. This extraordinary event united the Heavenly Asia Pacific Holy Community, with nations including the Philippines, Thailand, and Indonesia hosting it on August 27, 2023, under the theme “You are Heaven’s Blessing.”
South Asia and Malaysia also added their vibrancy to the celebration on September 3 and 2, respectively. India impressively drew 4,000 online viewers on the same day, showcasing the festival’s far-reaching impact.
A significant highlight was the recognition of the 1st 70-Day Witnessing Condition, symbolizing collective efforts to share the community’s message and welcome new members. New members received certificates, reinforcing the community’s growth and unity.
Another poignant moment was the Blessing Anniversary for the 30,000 and 360,000 couples in the Philippines, Thailand, and Indonesia. Vows and commitments reaffirmed love’s enduring power and the community’s dedication to fulfilling Heavenly Parent’s dream.

South Asia and India’s festival commenced with a heartfelt welcome to guests and religious leaders, setting the tone for a day of spiritual reflection and unity. The program included prayers, speeches, and interfaith messages, emphasizing the importance of love and peace in fostering a harmonious world. The festival was not just speeches but also a stage for creativity. Diverse talents shone in Hyojeong Testimonies and Cultural Performances, from traditional dances to modern music, conveying messages of unity and shared values.
President Masaichi Hori, Regional President of FFWPU Asia Pacific, emphasized the importance of witnessing as not just sharing beliefs but also sharing personal stories, stating, “Now is the time to show them [new members] substantial. So please invite your guests to your home.” He highlighted the need for both upgrading and recovering processes in spiritual growth, underlining the value of frequent connection in maintaining relationships. Hori also introduced the concept of new spirituality from CheonShimWon prayer and the need for a renewed approach to truth and witnessing: “We add a new approach to witnessing… a lot of things to show. So, this is the concept of new witnessing.” He also envisioned the unification of various organizations under the “Heavenly Parents Holy Community” and urged the revival of the church, reaching out to new and former members, and stimulating the youth. He concluded by expressing excitement about the future growth of the movement: “It’s truly an exciting time that will come at the end of this year.”
Gratitude abounds as these celebrations continue, with heartfelt thanks to Heavenly Parent and True Parents for the invaluable gift of community. This is just the beginning of the Hyo Jeong Action 4040 initiative, and we eagerly anticipate the arrival of more new members as we continue our journey of witnessing with heartfelt jeongseong. The future is bright as we move forward together, bound by our shared commitment to Heavenly Parent and True Parents’ Vision.
